  • Patent number: 5595073
Abstract: Method and apparatus to provide a weatherproof enclosure for one or more padlocks. The invention incorporates a weatherproof case cover and case body sized and shaped to house a plurality of padlocks together with the two looped ends of a cable that is used to secure a gate or other opening. Two donut shaped gaskets made of a resilient material are positioned on the cable in order that they make secure compressed contact with the case cover and case body when they are in a closed position. The case cover and case body are both shaped to receive the donut shaped gaskets at the points of contact and yet sufficiently compress the gaskets to form a weatherproof seal. The case cover and case body are sized and shaped in order that both have a channel at the point of contact between the case cover and case body.

  • Patent number: 5523014
Abstract: An originally viscous, non-flowable and non-pumpable cleaning composition made less viscous, and flowable and pumpable by the addition of at least one thickening agent to the composition. The cleaning composition includes an oil phase including at least one of a hydrocarbon oil and a hydrocarbon solvent and mixtures thereof, and at least one of a fatty acid and a non-fatty acid soap surfactant; and a water phase including water and a base. The addition of at least one thickening agent in various amounts relative to the amount of water in the composition makes the composition flowable. In particular, the addition of from about 2 to about 38 percent by weight of at least one thickening agent has been found to be suitable to provide a flowable composition containing between about 30 and 55 percent water. A method for the preparation of flowable cleaning compositions is also provided. The cleaning composition (13) forms a novel combination with a container (10) as a replacement element for dispensing apparatus.

  • Patent number: 5462688
Abstract: An originally viscous, non-flowable and non-pumpable cleaning composition made less viscous, flowable and pumpable by the addition of psyllium husks to the composition. The cleaning composition includes an oil phase including at least one of a hydrocarbon oil and a hydrocarbon solvent and mixtures thereof, and at least one of a fatty acid and a non-fatty acid soap surfactant; and the water phase including water and a base. The addition of psyllium husks in various amounts relative to the amount of water in the composition makes the composition flowable. • Patent number: 4227381
Abstract: A batch freezing apparatus has a fan or blower to continuously circulate air through the freezing chamber and back again through a recycle conduit. A cold gas such as from a liquid nitrogen supply tank is added to the recirculating air to lower the temperature in the system in a controlled manner to provide rapid freezing. The freezing chamber is capable of rotation so the material being frozen in cylinderical containers can be rotated against and freeze upon the inner surface of the container during the freezing process. The apparatus is especially suitable for freezing bull semen.
