Publication number: 20250191642Abstract: Techniques and apparatuses are described for overcoming memory, bandwidth, and/or power constraints in a processing-in-memory architecture. In example aspects, a memory device includes a logic circuit that is coupled to at least two banks. The memory device receives commands for concurrently performing at least a portion of a page operation and at least a portion of a processing-in-memory computation. The processing-in-memory computation is performed using the logic circuit and using data that was previously read from one of the active banks. The page operation is performed on another one of the banks that is idle to enable the logic circuit to access the data within this other bank for a later processing-in-memory computation. By performing the page operation during a same time as the processing-in-memory computation, a latency associated with the page operation can be effectively masked, thereby improving an overall efficiency of the memory device.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 11, 2024Publication date: June 12, 2025Applicant: Google LLCInventors: Hongil Yoon, Inho Hwang, John Joseph, Wenzhi Cui, Benjamin Youngjae Cho, Hee Jun Park

Patent number: 11958669Abstract: A strap assembly for cable and cord management in sterile environments is provided. The assembly includes a strap and a fastener. The fastener and relatively flat strap are characterized by a minimum of bacteria harboring surface features, and are made from easily sanitizable materials. The strap is discretely adjustable lengthwise via a plurality of apertures formed therein. A first group of apertures are used to attach to the cord and a second group of apertures allows for positioning the strap about a cord bundle, the fastener interacting with said apertures to secure the strap to the bundle. Necessary surface features on the strap such as indicia are limited to a predetermined height to ensure that a single pass with a sanitizing wipe can effect bacterial and viral decontamination.Type: GrantFiled: February 20, 2023Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Inventor: John Joseph

Publication number: 20230405098Abstract: Botulism is a potentially fatal illness caused by a toxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. There are seven main types of botulinum toxin but the most common is type A (BoNT/A). There are few treatments for botulism which are often limited to supportive efforts. Embodiments include methods of treating botulism using Type E Botulinum toxin (BoNT/E). Intravenous administration allows administration of large doses of BoNT/E to systemically treat the disease and improve recovery times.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 5, 2023Publication date: December 21, 2023Applicant: InnoMed Technologies, Inc.Inventor: John Joseph

Patent number: 11712610Abstract: Detectors and related systems and methods for automatically detecting made and missed basketball shots using ultrasonics are provided. A launcher is connected to a structural subassembly and passes basketballs to locations about a basketball playing area having a basketball goal. A detector having at least one ultrasonic sensor is selectively positioned below and adjacent to a rim of the basketball goal and transmits bursts of ultrasonic signals. A processor monitors for reflections of the transmitted bursts occurring within a specified time period after transmission excluding an initial time period and time after the specified time period, and records a made shot where reflections of the transmitted bursts are detected within the specified time period. An accelerometer may optionally be included for determining if the made shot was a swish.Type: GrantFiled: January 11, 2023Date of Patent: August 1, 2023Assignee: SHOOT-A-WAY, INC.Inventors: John Joseph, Albert Abnett
