    Abstract: Customized navigation maps of an area are generated for autonomous vehicles based on a baseline map of the area, transportation systems within the area, and attributes of the autonomous vehicles. The customized navigation maps include a plurality of paths, and two or more of the paths may form an optimal route for performing a task by an autonomous vehicle. Customized navigation maps may be generated for outdoor spaces or indoor spaces, and include specific infrastructure or features on which a specific autonomous vehicle may be configured for travel. Routes may be determined based on access points at destinations such as buildings, and the access points may be manually selected by a user or automatically selected on any basis. The autonomous vehicles may be guided by GPS systems when traveling outdoors, and by imaging devices or other systems when traveling indoors.

    Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to auditory nerve stimulation to create the perception of sound in the brain of a subject such as an animal or human being. In one form, a system includes an implantable electrode array including a plurality of spaced apart micro-needles. The system also includes a first electrical lead electrically coupled to and extending from the implantable electrode array, and an auditory signal device configured to produce one or more electrical signals representative of communications received from an external processor. An interposer is configured to electrically couple the implantable electrode array and the auditory signal device in an arrangement where one or more electrical signals produced by the auditory signal device may be transmitted through the first electrical lead to the implantable electrode array. Various novel stimulation strategies can be employed, such as place modulated stimulation signals.

    Abstract: A recommendation service access a data matrix listing of products associated with product profiles, the data matrix having product entries that store sparse historical electronic activity. For a target product it is determined which other products should be used to boost the historical electronic activity of the target product based on a first subset of product profiles that share product characteristics with the target product. Similarity scores are computed between the product profile of the target product and the first subset of product profiles to identify a second subset of one or more products having a similarity score above a scoring threshold. The historical electronic activity of the target product is boosted using the historical electronic activity of the other products in the second subset. Association values are calculated between the target product and the other products in the second subset by based on the boosted activity.

In embodiments, the system assigns observed processes to a set of process categories based on the file system path of the program executed by the process. The system extracts a feature vector for each process or host from the observation records and applies the machine learning models to the feature vectors to determine an outlier metric each process or host. The processes or hosts with the highest outlier metrics are reported as detected anomalies to be further examined by security analysts. In embodiments, the machine learnings models may be periodically retrained based on new observation records using unsupervised machine learning techniques. Accordingly, the system allows the models to learn from newly observed data without requiring the new data to be manually labeled by humans.
