    Abstract: A device, system, and method for an electronic response to a potential carjacking is provided. A device receives: a location and vehicle ignition status of a vehicle; and sensor data generated by one or more sensors that are onboard the vehicle, the sensor data different from the location and the vehicle ignition status. The device determines whether the location of the vehicle is associated with a carjacking type of location, and whether a combination of the vehicle ignition status and the sensor data meet a carjacking threshold condition. When both the location of the vehicle is associated with the carjacking type of location and the carjacking threshold condition is met, the device: outputs an alert at the vehicle indicative of, or associated with, the potential carjacking; and/or causes, a notification to be transmitted to a communication device associated with a public safety agency or a monitoring service.

    Abstract: Systems and methods may reduce or eliminate image artifacts due to a defective pixel of an electronic display. An electronic display may include pixels that respectively include a self-emissive element, pixel drive circuitry that supplies a pixel drive current to drive the self-emissive element, and signal routing circuitry that reduces or eliminates a visual artifact due to a defective pixel among the pixels. The signal routing circuitry may do this by turning off the self-emissive element, supplying image data from the pixel drive circuitry to a first adjacent pixel, or receiving image data from other pixel drive circuitry from the first adjacent pixel or a second adjacent pixel.

The first provider edge device may generate a data packet including mobility information indicating that the device has moved to the first provider edge device. The first provider edge device may transmit, via a data plane of the EVPN, the data packet to the second provider edge device to permit the second provider edge device to update routing information for the device.

    Abstract: A system and method for generating a vehicular profile and vehicular profiling system are provided. A request for enrollment in the system is received at a processing device. Live captured images of the vehicle to-be-enrolled and previously recorded images of a base version of the vehicle are processed and compared to detect differences therebetween. The differences are characterized to identify unique identifiers of the vehicle. The vehicular profile is generated including the characterized unique identifiers along with a recoverability-likelihood score. The profile, including the recoverability-likelihood score, is communicated to a primary device associated with capturing the live captured images. The profile including the recoverability-likelihood score may be further communicated to a secondary device having access permissions to the system.

    Abstract: Techniques are described for providing fast reroute for traffic in EVPN-VXLAN. For example, a backup PE device of an Ethernet segment is configured with an additional tunnel endpoint address (“reroute tunnel endpoint address”) for a backup path associated with a second split-horizon group that is different than a tunnel endpoint address and first split-horizon group for another path used for normal traffic forwarding. The backup PE device sends the reroute tunnel endpoint address to a primary PE device of the Ethernet segment, which uses the reroute tunnel endpoint address to configure a backup path to the backup PE device over the core network. For example, the primary PE device may install the reroute tunnel endpoint address within its forwarding plane and one or more operations to cause the primary PE device to encapsulate a VXLAN header including the reroute tunnel endpoint address when rerouting the packet along the backup path.

    Abstract: Touch sensor panel configurations for reducing wobble error for a stylus translating on a surface over and between electrodes of the touch sensor panel are disclosed. In some examples, electrodes with more linear signal profiles are correlated with lower wobble error. In some examples, diffusing elements formed of floating segments of conductive materials can diffuse signal from a stylus to a plurality of electrodes, thus, making the signal profiles associated with the electrodes more linear. In addition, diffusing elements can be configured to improve the optical uniformity of the touch sensor panel. In some examples, the diffusing elements can be formed on the same layer as floating dummy pixels and resemble a plurality of merged floating dummy pixels.
