  • Patent number: 12254597
Abstract: An item recommendation system receives a set of recommendable items and a request to select, from the set of recommendable items, a contrast group. The item recommendation system selects a contrast group from the set of recommendable items by applying a image modification model to the set of recommendable items. The image modification model includes an item selection model configured to determine an unbiased conversion rate for each item of the set of recommendable items and select a recommended item from the set of recommendable items having a greatest unbiased conversion rate. The image modification model includes a contrast group selection model configured to select, for the recommended item, a contrast group comprising the recommended item and one or more contrast items. The item recommendation system transmits the contrast group responsive to the request.

  • Publication number: 20250086849
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure include obtaining a text prompt describing an element, layout information indicating a target region for the element, and a precision level corresponding to the element. Some embodiments generate a text feature pyramid based on the text prompt, the layout information, and the precision level, wherein the text feature pyramid comprises a plurality of text feature maps at a plurality of scales, respectively. Then, an image is generated based on the text feature pyramid. In some cases, the image includes an object corresponding to the element of the text prompt at the target region. Additionally, a shape of the object corresponds to a shape of the target region based on the precision level.

  • Patent number: 12244875
Abstract: Lightweight mechanisms provide a way to assert provenance when live streaming media content and establish provenance upon playback. For example, a provenance claim generator generates a key pair including a live-stream private key and live-stream public key. The claim generator signs, with a long-term private key reliably associated with a sender, manifest metadata including the live-stream public key, thereby producing a manifest signature. During live streaming, the claim generator signs respective portions of media content with the live-stream private key, producing portion signatures for the respective portions. A provenance claim validator receives the manifest signature and manifest metadata. The claim validator verifies the manifest metadata using a long-term public key (reliably associated with the sender) and the manifest signature.

  • Publication number: 20250062417
Abstract: Lightweight, electrically conductive, and mechanically robust carbon nanomaterials in the form of films and membranes are used as electrochemically inert bipolar membranes for bipolar-stacked solid state batteries (SSBs). Bipolar plates are electrochemically inert and electrically conductive layers serially connecting adjacent solid-state unit cells but isolating the electrochemistry in each individual cell. The use of bipolar plates to form bipolar stacks is unique to SSBs. Such arrangement would significantly reduce the battery packaging weight because there is no need to seal and provide external connections to each individual unit cells as required in conventional batteries with liquid electrolytes. Reducing the weight of bipolar plates without compromising their other requirements especially electrical conductivity is highly desirable in improving the overall specific energy for packaged bipolar SSB stacks.

  • Publication number: 20250021206
Abstract: In a graphical user interface (GUI) for a social media platform, social media content is surfaced with variable visual attributes based on activity metrics. In a GUI for a social media platform, where the GUI provides access to posted social media items, an activity metric is determined for the underlying social media activity associated with each of multiple collections of social media items. The GUI displays user-selectable interface elements, such as icons, corresponding to these collections, with each icon having a visual attribute that varies depending on the activity metric. This results in visual differences between collection icons based on differences in their corresponding activity metrics.
