  • Publication number: 20210374327
Abstract: Various aspects of the disclosure are directed to content rendition generation. Sets of disparately-formatted media content are reformatted into corresponding renditions of media content having a common format. The common format includes device-indeterminate ID linking data that links respective portions (e.g., assets or a structural component including the assets) of each rendition with the common format to corresponding portions of the disparately-formatted media content. For each rendition, reformatted assets are generated in which each reformatted is specific to one of a plurality of disparate types of devices, based upon characteristics of the disparate device types. Access to the portions of disparately-formatted media content and/or the assets within the portions of disparately-formatted media content is tracked, based on the linking data.

  • Publication number: 20210361910
Abstract: A catheter has a jacket (10, 11, 5) defining a lumen and a helical support (6). The catheter has a proximal portion (4) and a distal portion (3), the distal portion having for at least some of its length a corrugated outer surface. A transition portion has a flexural stiffness which is less than that of the distal portion and more than that of the proximal portion. The transition portion provides an optimum transition in flexural stiffness by way of features of the jacket including geometry of jacket corrugations (15), or overlapping tubular layers (1073, 1074). The distal end of the distal portion may have an extension of liner material folded over (1072, 1082) to provide a particularly soft tip. In other examples the liner is terminated (763) before the distal tip. The catheter is particularly suited to an aspiration device (1350) with a flow restrictor (1353) and the distal portion distal of the flow restrictor.

  • Patent number: 11090458
Abstract: The system includes an air flow generator configured to deliver an air flow at a positive therapeutic pressure during the treatment, and an expiratory valve with an open pressure connected to the air flow generator. The open pressure is dependent on the therapeutic pressure from the air flow generator. The expiratory valve further exerts a back pressure upon each exhalation from the patient sufficient to create a pneumatic splint in the patient's respiratory tract. The exhalation from the patient has a first half followed by a second half, and the back pressure is varied such that during the start of the first half, the back pressure is between 0 and 50% of a peak back pressure, and increases to a peak back pressure in the second half.

  • Publication number: 20210122389
Abstract: Various technologies described herein pertain to causing presentation on a user interface of an immediate portion of a navigation route of an autonomous vehicle. A computing system of the autonomous vehicle determines whether an object detected by sensor(s) of the autonomous vehicle proximate to the immediate portion of the navigation route are of a type and relative position defined as one of consequential and inconsequential for a human passenger. In response to determining that an object has both a type and relative position defined as consequential, the computing system causes presentation on the user interface a representation of the object relative to the immediate portion of the navigation route to provide a confidence engendering indication that the autonomous vehicle has detected the object. Otherwise if inconsequential, presentation on the user interface of any representation of the object is not caused by the computing system to avoid creating a confusing presentation.

  • Patent number: 10839142
Abstract: Access is provided for different types of media content provided by disparate publishers, and in formats corresponding to operating characteristics of respective user devices. As consistent with one or more example embodiments herein, media content access is filtered for users requesting access via different user devices, based upon characteristics of the device to which the access is provided, user subscription data and publisher-specific criteria. A user-specific storefront interface is generated for each of a multitude of users, based upon the filtering. Each storefront interface indicates media content that can be displayed at the device to which access is requested, and identifies media content to which the user does and does not have subscription access. The user-specific storefront interfaces are presented at respective user devices, and media content is delivered to each device in response to selections made via the user-specific storefront interfaces.

  • Publication number: 20200358206
Abstract: Embodiments are directed configurations of antenna elements for conformal phased arrays (e.g., circular or cylindrical) to support either omnidirectional or directional high-gain beams. Antenna elements may be spaced about a circle or cylinder with a vertical and circumferential element spacing that is based on a wavelength of an operational frequency. Such a configuration of antenna elements enables easy scaling to different frequency bands and a straightforward extension from single-linear to dual-linear polarization. Furthermore, the antenna elements and their configurations enable conformal phased arrays to be formed as one integrated structure or with multiple modular structures.
