  • Patent number: 5528796
Abstract: A hinge assembly removably connects two bodies for pivotable movement relative to one another. The hinge assembly includes a first convex arcuate surface and a first concave arcuate surface on one body and a second convex arcuate surface and a second concave arcuate surface on the other body. The radii of curvature of the first convex arcuate surface and the second concave arcuate surface are about equal, and the radii of curvature of the second convex arcuate surface and the first concave arcuate surface are about equal, and each surface preferably defines an arc of about 180 degrees. The bodies may be assembled to one another so that the first convex arcuate surface slidingly engages the second concave arcuate surface and the first concave arcuate surface slidingly engages the second convex arcuate surface, thereby preventing relative movement of the bodies in a direction transverse to the pivot axis.

  • Patent number: 4530032
Abstract: A circuit box having two mounting plates pivotally connected so as to mount a fuse block and electrical control device in a stacked relationship but which allows operable connection of the fuse block and electronic control device in both a closed position in which only the second mounting plate is accessible and in an open position in which the other mounting plate is accessible. The pivotal mounting plate is connected to and spaced from a barrier plate to define a wire conduit therebetween. A stop prevents the pivotal mounting plate from pivoting past a predetermined open position.

  • Patent number: 3949528
Abstract: A storage enclosure especially adapted for the protective storage of bicycles, motorcycles and the like comprising molded modules which may be used alone or in combination with other of the same modules to form a multiple compartment enclosure. Each module is individually accessible without need for bending or stooping over while guiding a bicycle or motorcycle into the enclosure via an aperture extending a substantial distance toward the front of the enclosure and covered by a vertically opening door. Within a preferred embodiment, the end walls and/or side wall of each module are tapered outwardly to allow compact stacking of the individual modules for storage and/or transportation.
