  • Patent number: 10371082
Abstract: An illustrative embodiment of a fuel injector control system includes a driver that is configured to supply electrical power to a fuel injector. A controller is configured to control the driver by implementing a predetermined sequence of a plurality of states for an injection cycle. The plurality of states each include parameters for supplying electrical power to the fuel injector. The controller selects one of the states to implement as a next one of the states in the sequence based on a characteristic of an activation signal and information indicative of the state corresponding to the characteristic of the activation signal.

  • Publication number: 20190234912
Abstract: A system provides for the calculation of the penetration depth of a weld in an orthotropic steel decking system. Weld scan section data is accessed and each scan section along the weld seam is processed to find the amount of penetration as a percentage of the thickness of the rib leg metal at the weld location. The amount of penetration is calculated by finding ultrasonic reflections recorded as voxels that have the greatest magnitude within an area of contiguous magnitudes and then determining the location of those voxels relative to the weld geometry and distance along the thickness of the rib leg steel. A report for each section scan and the entire weld seam may be generated for review by a weld inspector that allows for spot inspections of specified areas along the weld seam for possible weld remediation.

  • Patent number: 10366057
Abstract: Data or one or more operations can be provided, based on one or more characteristics associated with the data and/or operations, to a designated computing group or pool of computing resources designated for handling the data and/or operations with the particular data characteristic(s). The designated computing group can, for example, be one of multiple computing groups in the same system or device. As such, all of the computing groups can still function together in the same system or device, for example, in parallel. However, each one of the multiple computing groups can, for example, be defined or predefined to include one or more computing resources that are more suitable for storing and/or processing data with one or more data characteristics or handle operations with one or more determined characteristics.

  • Patent number: 10361214
Abstract: Some embodiments include a method in which an assembly is formed to have voids within a stack, and to have slits adjacent the voids. Peripheral boundaries of the voids have proximal regions near the slits and distal regions adjacent the proximal regions. A material is deposited within the voids under conditions which cause the material to form to a greater thickness along the distal regions than along the proximal regions. Some embodiments include an assembly having a stack of alternating first and second levels. The second levels include conductive material. Panel structures extend through the stack. The conductive material within the second levels has outer edges with proximal regions near the panel structures and distal regions adjacent the proximal regions. Interface material is along the outer edges of the conductive material and has a different composition along the proximal regions than along the distal regions.

  • Patent number: 10361216
Abstract: A method used in forming an array of elevationally-extending transistors comprises forming vertically-alternating tiers of insulating material and void space. Such method includes forming (a) individual longitudinally-aligned channel openings extending elevationally through the insulating-material tiers, and (b) horizontally-elongated trenches extending elevationally through the insulating-material tiers. The void-space tiers are filled with conductive material by flowing the conductive material or one or more precursors thereof through at least one of (a) and (b) to into the void-space tiers. After the filling, transistor channel material is formed in the individual channel openings along the insulating-material tiers and along the conductive material in the filled void-space tiers.

  • Publication number: 20190221580
Abstract: Some embodiments include a method of forming an integrated structure. An assembly is formed to include a stack of alternating first and second levels. The first levels have insulative material, and the second levels have voids which extend horizontally. The assembly includes channel material structures extending through the stack. A first metal-containing material is deposited within the voids to partially fill the voids. The deposited first metal-containing material is etched to remove some of the first metal-containing material from within the partially-filled voids. Second metal-containing material is then deposited to fill the voids.

  • Publication number: 20190219408
Abstract: A travel coordination system provides suggestions to providers for where they should go to reduce the wait time between trips. A geographic region is broken down into zones and a score is generated for each zone. A zone score can be generated by determining the estimated wait time for the zone and generating a model for the wait time. A zone score can also be generated using a model for the wait time using factors that likely contribute to the wait time. The zone score for each zone is displayed to the provider on a road map of the geographic region along with the boundaries of each of the zones and the provider's position within the region. The travel coordination system also suggests driving routes. The travel coordination system selects a target zone and generates candidate routes to the zone. A route is selected based on route scores.

  • Patent number: 10355014
Abstract: Some embodiments include an assembly which has channel material pillars, and which has memory cells along the channel material pillars. A conductive structure is under the channel material pillars. The conductive structure has doped semiconductor material in direct contact with bottom regions of the channel material pillars. One or more of magnesium, scandium, yttrium and lanthanide elements is along the bottom regions of the channel material pillars. Some embodiments include methods of forming assemblies. A structure is formed, and a mass is formed against an upper surface of the structure. Plugs are formed within openings in the mass. The plugs comprise a second material over a first material. The first material includes one or more of magnesium, scandium, yttrium and lanthanide elements. Openings are formed to terminate on the first material, and are then extended through the first material. Channel material pillars are formed within the openings.

  • Patent number: 10338263
Abstract: In accordance with some embodiments, a method and apparatus for providing both a low-pass filter value and a high-pass filter value is presented. The combined filter receives an input value into a half-band finite impulse response (FIR) filter with an odd number of taps labeled 0 through N with corresponding filter coefficients labeled 0 through N where odd numbered filter coefficients are zero, the FIR filter providing a filter value. The median value from the FIR filter is digitally shifted to provide a half median value. The half median value is added to the filter value to provide the low-pass filter value and is subtracted from the filter value to provide the high-pass filter value.
