The method comprises the steps of defining a first partition within the database, defining a second partition within the database and assigning selected data in the database to the first partition and the second partition, wherein data assigned to both the first partition and the second partition may only be accessed by an entity assigned to both said first partition and said second partition.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the use of a paper medium to measure blood hemoglobin concentration. In certain embodiments, spectrophotometric techniques are used to measure light transmission at specified wavelengths through a paper medium containing a blood sample. The light transmission information is then used in the calculation of blood hemoglobin concentration. In certain embodiments, the paper medium may be chemically treated to lyse the blood sample prior to measurement of the light transmission information.

Using the user interface application, users can review the documented processes, report errors, request changes, generate reports, and so forth. Users with suitable access privileges can modify the data in the database using the user interface application. An external auditor can audit the processes and controls of the organization from his own office by accessing the database over a network such as the Internet.

Abstract: A manhole assembly including a frame and at least a pair of cover plates that are receivable in and disengageable from the frame to permit selective closing and opening of an aperture, the periphery of which is defined by the frame. The cover plates substantially occupy the aperture when received in the frame. A first cover plate of a pair thereof is smaller than a second cover plate of the pair. The first cover plate is hingeable relative to the second cover plate, while the latter is received in the frame, from a closed position received in the frame to an open position in which a first part of the aperture is open. The second cover plate is removable from the frame, when the first cover plate is disengaged from the frame, to open a second part of the aperture.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a cast article including a frame that in use of the article defines an aperture; and a further component that is in use retained moveably captive relative to the frame. The method casts the further component and respective first and second frame members, the further component and the frame members being securable together to form the article, and subsequently assembles the frame members and the further component together to form the article. A gully grate results from practicing the method.

Abstract: An intra-oral stabilisation device has an upper tray (101), a lower tray a lower tray (201), and at least two spacers (217) to provide a spacing between the anterior portions of the upper and lower trays. Spacers (217) provide a spacing between anterior portions of the trays, and are positioned between corresponding posterior portions of the trays. Engagement features (301) are provided for engaging undersides of the posterior portions of the upper tray with upper sides of the posterior potions of the lower tray, and minimise lateral movement of the trays relative to one another once the trays are engaged with one another. In an alternative embodiment, the device may have only the lower tray, and may have a locator (219) for stabilising an endotracheal tube 401 relative to the lower tray. The upper or lower tray can be used to stabilise fracture segments of a fractured jaw.

Abstract: A direct smelting process for producing molten metal from a metalliferous feed material in a direct smelting vessel is disclosed. The process includes using a stream of off-gas from the vessel as a fuel gas in (i) stoves for generating a hot blast of air or oxygen-enriched air for the process and (ii) a waste heat recovery apparatus for generating steam for the process. The process also includes controlling pressure in the vessel by controlling pressure in the off-gas stream while the process is producing molten metal.
