  • Publication number: 20210065889
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for perioperative care in a medical facility. In an example, a system includes a display and a computing device operably coupled to the display and storing instructions executable to output, to the display, a graphical user interface (GUI) that includes real-time medical device data determined from output of one or more medical devices each monitoring a patient, and where at least some of the real-time medical device data displayed via the GUI is displayed as a plurality of patient monitoring parameter tiles, each patient monitoring parameter tile showing a most-recently determined value or a trend for that patient monitoring parameter, the plurality of patient monitoring parameter tiles arranged according to a first layout; and responsive to a user action, adjust one or more patient monitoring parameter tiles of the plurality of patient monitoring parameter tiles to form a second layout.

  • Publication number: 20200314490
Abstract: Data on a user interacting with a media presentation is collected at a client device. The data includes facial image data of the user. The facial image data is analyzed to extract cognitive state content of the user. One or more emotional intensity metrics are generated. The metrics are based on the cognitive state content. The media presentation is manipulated, based on the emotional intensity metrics and the cognitive state content. An engagement score for the media presentation is provided. The engagement score is based on the emotional intensity metric. A facial expression metric and a cognitive state metric are generated for the user. The manipulating includes optimization of the previously viewed media presentation. The optimization changes various aspects of the media presentation, including the length of different portions of the media presentation, the overall length of the media presentation, character selection, music selection, advertisement placement, and brand reveal time.

  • Publication number: 20200228359
Abstract: Analytics are used for live streaming based on analysis within a shared digital environment. An interactive digital environment is accessed, where the interactive digital environment is a shared digital environment for a plurality of participants. The participants include presenters and viewers. A plurality of images is obtained from a first set of participants within the plurality of participants involved in the interactive digital environment. Cognitive state content is analyzed within the plurality of images for the first set of participants within the plurality of participants. Results of the analyzing cognitive state content are provided to a second set of participants within the plurality of participants. The obtaining and the analyzing are accomplished on a device local to a participant such that images of the first set of participants are not transmitted to a non-local device. The analyzing cognitive state content is augmented with evaluation of audio information.

  • Publication number: 20190371456
Abstract: A use status of a medical facility is monitored in a method. Streaming time series of medical device data are received from a plurality of medical devices. The plurality of medical devices are each located in monitored rooms of the medical facility. The streaming time series of medical device data is analyzed to detect procedural events in the time series medical device data. A current use status of each of the plurality of monitored rooms of the medical facility is determined from the detected procedural events.

  • Patent number: 10094248
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a lash adjuster body for use in a lash adjuster assembly can include forming a lash adjuster body to an as-formed condition including an outer cylindrical surface and an inner cylindrical surface. The inner cylindrical surface can have a leak down portion and a blind bore. The method can also include imparting a wear resistant surface layer to at least the leak down portion of the inner cylindrical surface with a sub-critical temperature process. • Patent number: 9477573
Abstract: A method of monitoring the level of performance of a software application running on a network-attached computing device, comprises monitoring information exchange at least one station on the network; measuring at least two performance indicator metrics, such as delay, jitter, loss, response time, throughput, goodput, and object size; and deriving an indicator parameter from a non-linear combination of the indicator metrics. A transformation may be applied to each indicator metric to obtaining a corresponding derived value, and the derived values then additively combined, to obtain the said indicator parameter. The transformation has a first region in which the derived value depends relatively weakly on the corresponding metric, and a second region, in which the derived value depends relatively strongly on the corresponding metric. A score value may be entered by a user, indicative of the user's perception of the performance of the software application, and compared with the derived indicator parameter.

  • Patent number: 9243521
Abstract: A tappet having a contiguous body, an outer wall and transverse web. The outer wall defines a cylindrically-shaped outer surface and a recess. The recess is disposed within cylindrical surface of the body. An alignment member is press-fit between two staked ends of the recess, which engage opposite sides of the alignment member. The alignment member extends outwardly from the cylindrically-shaped surface. A roller is mounted to the contiguous body at the cam contacting end of the tappet.
