Patent number: 12369813Abstract: An MR Spectroscopy (MRS) system and approach is provided for diagnosing painful and non-painful discs in chronic, severe low back pain patients (DDD-MRS). A DDD-MRS pulse sequence generates and acquires DDD-MRS spectra within intervertebral disc nuclei for later signal processing and diagnostic analysis. An interfacing DDD-MRS signal processor receives output signals of the DDD-MRS spectra acquired and is configured to optimize signal-to-noise ratio by an automated system that selectively conducts optimal channel selection, phase and frequency correction, and frame editing as appropriate for a given acquisition series. A diagnostic processor calculates a diagnostic value for the disc based upon a weighted factor set of criteria that uses MRS data extracted from the acquired and processed MRS spectra for multiple chemicals that have been correlated to painful vs. non-painful discs. A display provides an indication of results for analyzed discs as an overlay onto a MRI image of the lumbar spine.Type: GrantFiled: November 3, 2023Date of Patent: July 29, 2025Assignee: Aclarion, Inc.Inventors: James Clayton Peacock, III, John Patrick Claude, Paul Henry Kane

Patent number: 12370109Abstract: A detachable side rail assembly has male and female brackets that can be removably secured to opposing sides of a spar of a medical procedure table to facilitate attachment of accessories. The spar has a series of horizontal holes spaced at intervals along its length. The male bracket has a plurality of alignment pins for insertion through selected holes with their ends protruding through the spar. The female bracket is positioned on the opposite side of the spar and has openings to allow the protruding ends of the pins to pass through the female bracket. Keyways in the openings of the female bracket drop into corresponding recesses in the protruding ends of the pins to restrict withdrawal of the pins. A tightening mechanism is employed to exert a tensile force on the pins to removably retain the keyways of the female bracket in the recesses of the alignment pins.Type: GrantFiled: January 31, 2024Date of Patent: July 29, 2025Assignee: Surgix Medical LLCInventor: John Patrick Nail

Publication number: 20250229393Abstract: A filter tool and method of removing a filter includes a socket head and a plurality of teeth. The socket head has a proximal end portion, a distal end portion, and an outer wall at least partially surrounding a longitudinal axis and defining a hollow configured to receive at least a portion of a housing of the filter. The plurality of teeth are configured to grip the housing of the filter and further define the hollow. The plurality of teeth are angularly positioned about the longitudinal axis and extend radially inward from the outer wall toward the longitudinal axis and further extend longitudinally toward the proximal end portion. The hollow thus narrows toward the proximal end portion for rotatably gripping the housing of the filter received therein and removing the filter from a filter mount.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 10, 2025Publication date: July 17, 2025Inventor: John-Patrick Kinerk

Patent number: 12362159Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling a plasma sheath characteristic are described. One of the methods includes determining a first value of the plasma sheath characteristic of a plasma sheath formed within a plasma chamber. The method further includes determining whether the first value of the plasma sheath characteristic is within a predetermined range from a preset value of the plasma sheath characteristic. The method also includes modifying a variable of a radio frequency (RF) generator coupled to the plasma chamber via an impedance matching circuit upon determining that the first value is not within the predetermined range from the preset value. The operation of modifying the variable of the RF generator is performed until it is determined that the first value of the plasma sheath characteristic is within the predetermined range from the preset value.Type: GrantFiled: March 15, 2022Date of Patent: July 15, 2025Assignee: Lam Research CorporationInventors: Alexei M. Patent number: 12333375Abstract: Methods and systems disclosed herein enable accessing and updating content using deep linking. The system may generate a deep link for a user that links the user to an operator that requested generation of the deep link. The deep link may be encoded into a wirelessly detectable tag or a visually scannable code, which may be stored with user action data and an operator identifier. When a visually scannable code is scanned or a wirelessly detectable tag is accessed, the deep link is decoded and all data associated with the deep link is retrieve and generated for display, when needed. By generating deep links in combination with the visually scannable codes or wirelessly detectable tags, the system is able to provide quick and efficient data retrieval and update.Type: GrantFiled: April 5, 2024Date of Patent: June 17, 2025Assignee: Capital One Services, LLCInventors: Sanjiv Yajnik, Satyajit Sajanrao Nalavade, Sunil Raste, Eddie Provencio, Vikramaditya Repaka, John Patrick Eckman

Publication number: 20250183550Abstract: Described herein are feed networks for phased array antennas. An exemplary feed combiner assembly for a phased array antenna can electrically combine multiple radiating elements in a column for connection to a common feed line of a feed network. This enables transmission of a signal to the multiple radiating elements with a single feed line, reducing the number of feed lines required for feeding the radiating elements. The feed combiner assembly can provide for a more compact feed network and easier replacement than a conventional feed line connection configuration. Each radiating element of the phased array antenna can have a capacitive coupling portion that capacitively couples the radiating element to adjacent radiating elements. The spacing between adjacent radiating elements can be controlled by a non-conductive, overmolded spacer disposed on the capacitive coupling portion, which aligns and maintains a minimum separation between adjacent radiating elements.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 4, 2024Publication date: June 5, 2025Applicant: The MITRE CorporationInventors: John Patrick LISTON, Mohamed Wajih ELSALLAL, Francisco Fernando RAMOS-CARRIZOSA, Kevin HANSEN

Publication number: 20250183552Abstract: Described herein, according to various aspects, are ultra-wideband, phased array antennas that include non-conductive components that are selectively plated in a conductive material. An exemplary antenna can include a plurality of signal ears and ground ears that are formed along with a base plate from which they extend in an additive manufactured process, thereby reducing the cost and time of manufacturing relative to conventional manufacturing processes. The signal ears and ground ears can be made out of a non-conductive material and selectively plated in a conductive material, thereby allowing for the electrical isolation of certain components, which can increase the operational bandwidth relative to conventional antennas made out of or fully plated in a conductive material.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 3, 2024Publication date: June 5, 2025Applicant: The MITRE CorporationInventors: John Patrick LISTON, Mohamed Wajih ELSALLAL, Francisco Fernando RAMOS-CARRIZOSA, Kevin HANSEN
