  • Publication number: 20210377006
Abstract: The concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to time-aware blockchain staged regulatory control of Internet of Things (“IoT”) data. A federation platform can receive a registration request from an enterprise edge platform to register a blockchain identifier for publication of public data on a public blockchain. The federation platform can determine if the registration request contains any restricted data parameters. In response to determining that the registration request does not contain any restricted data parameters, the federation platform can query a security module to obtain an encryption key. The federation platform can receive the encryption key from the security module. The federation platform can store the encryption key in association with the blockchain identifier and an enterprise edge platform ID that uniquely identifies the enterprise edge platform.

  • Patent number: 11173240
Abstract: Embodiments of negative pressure wound therapy systems and methods are disclosed. In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a driving circuit that supplies a driving signal to a negative pressure source to cause the negative pressure source to provide negative pressure via a fluid flow path to a wound dressing. The apparatus furthers include a controller that adjusts a frequency of the driving signal supplied by the driving circuit according to a comparison of a previous magnitude and a subsequent magnitude of the driving signal while the negative pressure source provides negative pressure. The transfer of power to the negative pressure source can thereby be tuned to maximize an amount of power transferred to the negative pressure source.

  • Publication number: 20210348657
Abstract: A clutch engagement booster system is an apparatus used to support and improve clutch engagement on motor vehicles, both as a modification to existing clutch assemblies or as a standalone installation in various embodiments. The clutch engagement booster system utilizes a casing and pressure housing supporting a diaphragm, an expansion chamber, an engagement member, and at least one clutch element. The expansion chamber is formed between the diaphragm and the pressure housing in fluid communication with at least one pressure source through the at least one regulator device. The at least one clutch element is positioned within the casing, opposite the diaphragm across the engagement member. As the expansion chamber is pressurized the diaphragm deforms towards the engagement member, thereby forcing the at least one clutch element into engagement to transfer power through a host transmission.

  • Patent number: 11120373
Abstract: Crowdsourcing using active learning is described, for example, to select pairs of tasks and groups of workers so that information gained about answers to the tasks in the pool is optimized. In various examples a machine learning system learns variables describing characteristics of communities of workers, characteristics of workers, task variables and uncertainty of these variables. In various examples, the machine learning system predicts task variables and uncertainty of the predicted task variables for possible combinations of communities of workers and tasks. In examples the predicted variables and uncertainty are used to calculate expected information gain of the possible combinations and to rank the possible combinations. In examples, the crowdsourcing system uses the expected information gain to allocate tasks to worker communities and observe the results; the results may then be used to update the machine learning system.
