Abstract: A financial transaction authentication server includes a wireless network interface that is configured to receive fund transfer requests from a buyer via a wireless communications terminal, a wireless terminal location module that is configured to identify the respective locations of the buyer and a seller, and a transaction authorization processor configured to authorize a transfer request if the geographic locations of wireless terminals of the buyer and seller are within a predetermined geographical proximity of each other. The wireless network terminal location module identifies the geographic locations of respective wireless terminals of the buyer and seller.

Abstract: One embodiment of the present is a method of implementing privacy control of location information. Such a method comprises defining a geographic zone for which pseudo-location information is to be reported as the current location of the user, wherein the pseudo-location information is not the current location of the user; receiving the current location of the user; determining that the current location is in the geographic zone; and reporting the pseudo-location information as the current location of the user when the current location is determined to be in the geographic zone. Abstract: A method for managing appointments using a wireless device includes receiving scheduling data for a future appointment including a time associated with the future appointment. A current location of the wireless device is determined, and a reminder for the future appointment is provided at a time prior to the future appointment based on the current location of the wireless device. For example, the reminder may be provided at a time that varies based on the current location of the wireless device, a location associated with the future appointment, and an estimated travel time between the current location of the device and the location associated with the future appointment. Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media provide for improved management of customer service requests. According to implementations, a customer requiring assistance from a company may send a message to a customer service representative (“CSR”) associated with the company. The message is received and placed in a return contact queue. A customer profile database is referenced for information pertaining to the customer and any associated accounts. Additional databases may be referenced for information relating to the product or service that is the subject of the customer inquiry. Contact information is extracted from the message or other accumulated information. Upon reaching the front of the queue, the customer message and associated information is provided to the CSR. The CSR, with all pertinent information at hand, contacts the customer to provide assistance.

The pre-paid platform may charge a monetary account for the amount of the refresh that is applied.

Customers can select a combination of the offered goods and services offered by a vendor, rather than choosing from among a few, pre-bundled packages. A progressive discount is employed in the determination of the price of the combination, such that increasing the number of goods or services, or increasing the level of service, results in greater discounts. The offering price of this combination is conveyed to the customer, and opportunities to make changes to the selected combination are provided. The opportunity to initiate the purchase of the selected combination is also provided.

The dynamic field of the advertising message is automatically populated based on the current position of the mobile device to provide updated information about the identified location.

Abstract: Methods of managing data associated with an entity include providing an address book entry for the entity in an address book of a user. The address book entry has an associated name and includes a plurality of identifications associated with the entity. Data records associated with the entity are automatically obtained from a plurality of applications based on the plurality of identifications associated with the entity, including a communications service of the entity. The obtained data records and the address book entry are formatted to provide an address book record for the entity in the address book. The address book record includes contact information for the entity and includes an identification of communications between the user and the entity and/or common appointments of the user and the entity.
