Abstract: Systems, methods and computer products for pooling of wireless collection bandwidth. Exemplary embodiments include a bandwidth management method, in a wireless device, the method, including querying for additional wireless devices within a communication range of the wireless device, the wireless device and additional wireless devices being in communication with a network having downloadable content, initiating communication between the wireless device and the additional wireless devices, establishing an ad-hoc network among the combination of the wireless device and the additional devices, establishing communication between the combined wireless device and additional devices as the ad-hoc network, and the network having the downloadable content and requesting the downloadable content from the network to the wireless device, wherein the downloadable content is transferred over a bandwidth collectively pooled among individual bandwidths of the wireless device and the additional wireless devices.

Abstract: An audio caller identification system and method are provided. A caller identification device of a called party's telephone, whether integrated with the telephone or stand-alone, includes a speaker for audibly alerting the called party to the nature of an incoming call. A speech synthesizer in concert with an audio caller ID program may audibly identify a name and/or number of the calling party displayed on the called party's caller ID device, including descriptive terms for calling parties such as “private,” “unlisted,” or “out of the area.” When the called party's telephone begins to ring, the called party may listen to the audio identification of the calling party for a quick screening without having to go to the telephone to read the caller ID.

Abstract: Methods of managing features in a portable electronic device are provided. Use of a portable electronic device by a user is monitored over a period of time. Adaptive settings are established for features and/or profiles in the portable electronic device based on the monitored use of the portable electronic device. Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide methods, systems, and/or computer program products for enhancing communication services. In some method embodiments, an originating device of a call transmitted to a communication device is identified and a location of the originating device is determined. An identification of the originating device and the location of the originating device is sent to the communication device.

Abstract: A first device is operated to obtain a navigation track between a first location and a second location by establishing a peer-to-peer communication connection with a second device and receiving a message that contains information associated with the first location and/or the second location from the second device. The information is associated with a navigation module on the first device. The information associated with the at least one of the first location and the second location is processed using the navigation module to obtain the navigation track between the first location and the second location.

Abstract: In some methods for auctioning on-line advertisement placement services, an on-line advertisement placement service is offered based on at least one search term and based on at least one geographic area where the at least one search term will originate. Monetary bids are received from entities responsive to the offer of on-line advertisement placement service. In response to the monetary bids, the on-line advertisement placement service for the at least one search term originating from the at least one geographic area is awarded to a selected one or more of the entities.

Abstract: Methods of detecting potential click fraud are provided in which information relating to a click on an Internet advertisement is received. A measured location of a source of the click is also received. The source of the click may be identified as potentially fraudulent based at least in part on the received information and the measured location of the source. Methods of identifying potentially fraudulent activations of Internet advertisements and related systems and computer program products are also provided.

Abstract: A method for managing appointments using a wireless device includes receiving scheduling data for a future appointment including a time associated with the future appointment. A current location of the wireless device is determined, and a reminder for the future appointment is provided at a time prior to the future appointment based on the current location of the wireless device. For example, the reminder may be provided at a time that varies based on the current location of the wireless device, a location associated with the future appointment, and an estimated travel time between the current location of the device and the location associated with the future appointment. Related methods, devices, and computer program products are also discussed.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media provide for improved management of customer service requests. According to implementations, a customer requiring assistance from a company may send a message to a customer service representative (“CSR”) associated with the company. The message is received and placed in a return contact queue. A customer profile database is referenced for information pertaining to the customer and any associated accounts. Additional databases may be referenced for information relating to the product or service that is the subject of the customer inquiry. Contact information is extracted from the message or other accumulated information. Upon reaching the front of the queue, the customer message and associated information is provided to the CSR. The CSR, with all pertinent information at hand, contacts the customer to provide assistance.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and products are disclosed for monitoring athletic performance. Information is acquired that indicates a device is in movement. The movement is differentiated from transportation. When the movement indicates transportation, then the movement is excluded as unrelated to the athletic performance.

Abstract: Methods, systems and computer program products for updating information for an identified location on a mobile device are provided. A broadcast advertising message is provided to a mobile device. The advertising message identifies a location and includes a dynamic field configured to provide updated information about the identified location. When the advertising message is activated by the mobile device, a current position of the mobile device is determined. The dynamic field of the advertising message is automatically populated based on the current position of the mobile device to provide updated information about the identified location.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and articles of manufacture for displaying user-selection controls associated with clusters on a GUI are provided. One exemplary method includes automatically generating a first table having URLs associated with websites accessed by at least one user over a time interval and content information associated with the URLs. The method further includes automatically determining cluster names for grouping the URLs based on the content information. Each cluster name has at least one URL associated therewith. The method further includes automatically generating a second table having the cluster names and URLs associated with the cluster names. The method further includes displaying the GUI having the user-selection controls associated with the cluster names on a display device, utilizing the second table.

Abstract: One embodiment of the present is a method of using location information to transmit alerting information to a communications device. Such a method comprises receiving location information regarding a communications device; selecting alerting information based on the location of the communications device; and transmitting to the communications device information pertaining to the alerting information. Abstract: A method and system implementing a variable pricing structure that applies to goods and services available from a vendor, and rewards customers who spend more is described. Customers can select a combination of the offered goods and services offered by a vendor, rather than choosing from among a few, pre-bundled packages. A progressive discount is employed in the determination of the price of the combination, such that increasing the number of goods or services, or increasing the level of service, results in greater discounts. The offering price of this combination is conveyed to the customer, and opportunities to make changes to the selected combination are provided. The opportunity to initiate the purchase of the selected combination is also provided.

The service number and the device number are communicated for activation, and a verification message is received indicating the prepaid service has been successfully activated.
