  • Publication number: 20250136927
Abstract: The invention relates to a composition for preparing a 3D scaffold for culturing cells and tissue, such as human cells and tissue. In particular embodiments, the present invention relates to a composition comprising a biocompatible polymer suitable for the preparation of a hydrogel, and a modified extracellular matrix (ECM) protein that is unreactive towards the biocompatible polymer, such that, after preparation of a hydrogel, the modified ECM protein is not covalently bound to the hydrogel. Compositions of the invention are suitable for use in 3D bioprinting, tissue engineering, drug screening, disease modelling and methods of treatment such as tissue regeneration.

  • Patent number: 12282407
Abstract: End users subscribe to use information handling systems having a selected of available performance characteristics defined by a component configuration selected to build the information handling systems in a portable housing having housing portions rotationally coupled by one or more hinges. A manufacturer meets subscriptions with information handling systems built from an inventory of new hinges, deployed hinges of information handling systems in use by subscribers, and separated hinges taken from returned information handling systems and re-used. End user subscriptions are met in part by building replacement information handling systems with separated hinges having a useful life remaining that aligns with end user hinge usage patterns tracked over time, benchmarked performance metrics and end user subscription performance characteristics.

  • Publication number: 20240176166
Abstract: Eyewear has a detachable, light-blocking shield including a vent which enables airflow for moisture management and wearer comfort. The eyewear's nosepad can include a nosepad vent, and a temple can include a fluid channel and temple vent for further facilitating airflow and moisture management. The vent of the shield can direct airflow into a region behind a lens of the eyewear and increase the volume of air flowing across an inner surface of the eyewear lens and through the fluid channel.

  • Patent number: 11502249
Abstract: A re-writeable non-volatile memory device including a re-writeable non-volatile two-terminal memory element (ME) having tantalum. The ME including a first terminal, a second terminal, a first layer of a conductive metal oxide (CMO), and a second layer in direct contact with the first layer. The second layer and the first layer being operative to store at least one-bit of data as a plurality of resistive states, and the first and second layer are electrically in series with each other and with the first and second terminals.

  • Publication number: 20220082868
Abstract: An eyewear frame includes a plurality of ventilation apertures disposed in fluid communication with corresponding ones of a plurality of fluid channels. The plurality of ventilation apertures are dimensioned and configured to conduct fluid from an outer face of the ventilated eyewear frame to an inner face. The plurality of ventilation apertures are further dimensioned and configured to conduct fluid from at least one inlet to at least two outlets, the fluid thus interacting with a plurality of fluid channels simultaneously. The plurality of fluid channels are dimensioned and configured to conduct fluid there along, and at least partially in communication with a wearer of the ventilated eyewear frame, facilitating heat exchange with the wearer, fluid drainage, and a reduction in fogging of the lenses of the eyewear.

  • Patent number: 11064028
Abstract: A method and apparatus for deduplication of sensor data is described. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a plurality of sensor packets P at a network gateway apparatus. Each packet Pi has a corresponding timestamp Ti. The method includes storing a subset of the plurality of received packets P? for a first period of time T1. The method also includes comparing each of the stored packets P?i to other stored packets P?j to determine an equivalence. In response to determining the equivalence of the stored packet P?i with P?j, the method includes forwarding only one of packet P?i or P?j to a destination.
