  • Patent number: 11093243
Abstract: Vector interleaving techniques in a data processing apparatus are disclosed, comprising apparatuses, instructions, methods of operating the apparatuses, and simulator implementations. A vector interleaving instruction specifies a first source register, second source register, and destination register. A first set of input data items is retrieved from the first source register and a second set of input data items from the second source register. A data processing operation is performed on selected input data item pairs taken from the first and second set of input data items to generate a set of result data items, which are stored as a result data vector in the destination register. First source register dependent result data items are stored in a first set of alternating positions in the destination data vector and second source register dependent result data items are stored in a second set of alternating positions in the destination data vector.

  • Publication number: 20210205365
Abstract: Adoptive cell therapy involves the transfer of autologous or allogeneic cells to patients in an effort to treat a variety of diseases. In the area of immunotherapy, tumour specific T-cells can be grown ex vivo, or engrafted with tumour specificity via genetic engineering approaches, prior to reinfusion. T-cell infusions require a pre-conditioning treatment, and often a post infusion treatment of IL-2, in an effort to enhance persistence and engraftment. Herein Applicants show that T-cells can be engineered to express a Chimeric recombinant Growth Factor Receptor (CrGFR) which allows the selective survival and/or expansion of T-cells upon administration of a clinically available drug, Eltrombopag.

  • Patent number: 11049146
Abstract: An online system receives a discount offer from a merchant and displays the offers to users. Some of the discount offers provide for a discount that becomes valid when the discount offer is displayed to the user and remains valid for an offer duration. To implement these discount offers, a timestamp representing the time at which the discount offer is displayed is recorded and encoded. The encoded timestamp is provided to the merchant system when the user makes a purchase. The merchant extracts the recorded timestamp from the encoded timestamp and compares the recorded timestamp to the time of the purchase. If the time elapsed between the timestamp and the purchase is less than the offer duration, then the merchant system applies the discount to the purchase.

  • Patent number: 11031215
Abstract: A processing chamber such as a plasma etch chamber can perform deposition and etch operations, where byproducts of the deposition and etch operations can build up in a vacuum pump system fluidly coupled to the processing chamber. A vacuum pump system may have multiple roughing pumps so that etch gases can be diverted a roughing pump and deposition precursors can be diverted to another roughing pump. A divert line may route unused deposition precursors through a separate roughing pump. Deposition byproducts can be prevented from forming by incorporating one or more gas ejectors or venturi pumps at an outlet of a primary pump in a vacuum pump system. Cleaning operations, such as waferless automated cleaning operations, using certain clean chemistries may remove deposition byproducts before or after etch operations.
