  • Patent number: 5806983
Abstract: A pouch package is formed that has a multilayer structure of two or more layers where the longitudinal seal is formed from a bonding of the inner layer to the inner layer in a fin seal arrangement. One layer of the multilayer structure is a seal layer and another layer a barrier layer. There can be additional layers such as additional barrier layers and cutter lubricant layers. It is preferred that the multilayer structure have two to four layers (not counting adhesive tie layers) and that the inner seal layer be readily sealable by means of radio frequency energy. The longitudinal seal will preferably be along a side surface so as to have a spout. The pouch is made on form/fill equipment from a multilayer sheet by the multilayer sheet being formed into a tubular member with a longitudinal seal.

  • Patent number: 5569403
Abstract: This invention comprises a towel warmer wherein the towel is removably mounted on a rack within a closed cabinet. The cabinet includes a heater blower mounted on the upper portion thereof and recirculating tubes on each side thereof to recirculate the warm air after it passes through the towel. The heater blower warms the circulated air and forces it downwardly into the hanging towel. The system is totally enclosed so that the operating noise is greatly reduced and the system uses only a fraction of the electric power conventionally required.

  • Patent number: 3954515
Abstract: A process for providing superplastic properties in a Zinc/aluminium alloy containing between 18 and 40% by weight of aluminium, comprising heat-treating a body of the alloy until a substantially homogeneous structure is obtained, cooling the body of alloy to a temperature below 275.degree.C, and working the body of alloy to reduce a dimension thereof by at least 90%, wherein the body of alloy is initially cooled to a temperature of not less than 275.degree.C and is subsequently further cooled after the body of alloy has been at least partially worked, and wherein more than half of the total percentage dimension reduction is carried out at 275.degree.C or above.
