  • Publication number: 20240070041
Abstract: One embodiment provides a method and a system for diagnosing faults in a physical system. During operation, the system can create a fault-augmented model of the physical system by considering various potential faults, and it can generate a machine-learning model to predict an operation mode of the physical system using the outputs of the physical system. A respective operation mode corresponds to normal operation or a potential fault in the physical system. The system can generate a plurality of training samples based on the fault-augmented model, use the training samples to train the machine-learning model to learn a sequence of inputs and model parameters that minimizes an uncertainty of the predicted operation mode, and then apply the learned sequence of inputs and the trained machine-learning model on the physical system to determine the operation mode of the physical system.

  • Publication number: 20240037286
Abstract: This disclosure provides techniques for providing or facilitating automatic generation or conversion to geometric designs based on system-level designs. An example method may include receiving a system model from a system modeling environment. The system model describes, represents, or reflects a typology of two or more system components. The topology describes connectivity and performance by the two or more system components. A processing device extracts the topology of the two or more system components from the system model. The topology is represented by two or more connected nodes. The topology describes connectivity and performance by two or more system components. The processing device generates design spaces for the two or more connected nodes. The processing device further generates geometric representations in the design spaces for each of the two or more connected nodes to form the geometric assembly based on the system model.

  • Publication number: 20230418766
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to an apparatus comprising processing circuitry, first cache circuitry and second cache circuitry, wherein the second cache circuitry has an access latency higher than an access latency of the first cache circuitry. The second cache circuitry is responsive to receiving a request for data stored within the second cache circuitry to identify said data as pseudo-invalid data and provide said data to the first cache circuitry. The second cache circuitry is responsive to receiving an eviction indication, indicating that the first cache circuitry is to evict said data, to, responsive to determining that said data has not been modified since said data was provided to the first cache circuitry, identify said pseudo-invalid data as valid data.

  • Publication number: 20230396550
Abstract: Interconnect systems and method of operating such are disclosed. A plurality of nodes coupled via a packet transport path form an interconnect and the nodes provide ingress points to the interconnect for a plurality of packet sources. A central controller holds permitted rate indications for each of the plurality of packet sources, in accordance with which each packet source sends packets via the interconnect. The nodes each respond to packet collision event at that node by sending a collision report to the central controller. In response the central controller, in respect of a collision pair of packet sources associated with the packet collision, decreases the permitted rate indication corresponding to a packet source of the collision pair of packet sources which currently has the higher permitted rate indication. Periodically the permitted rate indications of all of the packet sources are increased, subject to a maximum permitted rate indication for each.

  • Patent number: 11784941
Abstract: An apparatus and method for operating a ring interconnect are disclosed. The ring interconnect has a plurality of nodes that are used to connect to associated components, and is arranged to transport a plurality of slots around the ring interconnect between the nodes in order to transfer items of traffic allocated into those slots between components connected to the nodes. For each item of traffic, one of the components acts as a source to allocate that item of traffic into a slot, and another components acts as destination to seek to remove that item of traffic from the slot.
