  • Publication number: 20240053119
Abstract: A device and method for charging an automatic or semi-automatic firearm, via a unique forward charging handle configuration. The present invention is illustrated and for use on the AR-15 rifle platform, but is equally applicable to various other caliber and configured firearms, with or without gas tubes. The forward charging handle slidably reciprocates about and along the frontal support or hand guard area (also referenced as the fore stock) in a pump action, allowing ejecting of spent, jammed or dud ammo from the chamber area, or initial chambering or charging the firearm while maintaining shooting position. The present invention is particularly suitable for use in competitive shooting, military applications, hunting, etc, allowing the user to charge, chamber, and/or unj am the firearm while maintaining firing posture, without the need for the user's hand leaving the front support.

  • Patent number: 11814930
Abstract: A wash tool comprises a mandrel with a central annulus and one or more lateral bores and one or more ring-shaped rotary hubs positioned about the mandrel adjacent to the one or more lateral bores. The rotary hubs comprise lateral bores perpendicular to the lateral bores of the mandrel such that pressurized fluid introduced to the central annulus of the mandrel impacts the inner surface of the rotary hubs and forces them to rotate, delivering pressurized fluid to the inner surface of a wellbore or tubular. The wash tool is modular and can be attached to a top sub or bottom sub, and may be used with or without a wireline. When used with a wireline, the wireline is insulated from the wash fluid by means of a tie-back and multiple seals.

  • Publication number: 20180347303
Abstract: A hanger system formed to provide sealed passage therethrough for cables, lines, tubes or the like through the wellhead. The preferred embodiment of the invention teaches a unitary or split/wrap around hanger having a main seal formed to receive and provide sealed pass-through of power and control cables, lines, conduits, or other threaded components such as for powering an electric submersible pump (ESP) via electrical cable(s) or the like, while effectively packing off and sealing the well bore. The present invention provides hinged side doors formed to engage and support the cable, line, conduit, etc in the hanger for engaging components threaded therethrough. When the hanger with threaded components is positioned to rest in the bowl of the tubing head, the lower string weight compresses the main seal, providing an effective seal about the threaded components. The present invention teaches permanent as well as temporary applications, and is designed to provide a low to medium pressure seal.

  • Publication number: 20140202241
Abstract: An exemplary embodiment of the liner top test tool comprises a mandrel that is coupled to a sealing assembly, which contains at least one radially extendable sealing element, and a test tool support which is axially displaceable in relation to the mandrel. The test tool support contains at least one shearable element preventing axial movement of the test tool support in relation to the mandrel. The mandrel has at least one axial groove that can be coupled to the test tool support in order to limit the amount of axial movement between the two components. Once the tool is in place on a liner top, the shearing of the shearable element will activate the tool by allowing the mandrel to be displaced axially in relation to the test tool support thereby applying axial pressure on the sealing element causing it to radially extend and seal the bore of the liner.
