Abstract: A method for operating an entertainment attraction includes receiving an input selection from a guest relating to a characteristic of the attraction. The guest creates their guest profile, or by accesses their previously created profile stored in a memory. The profile may be changed by the current input selection made by the guest, with the changed profile stored for the guest's next use of the attraction. If the attraction is a ride, the guest is assigned to a viewing position, an active prop, a seat, or a vehicle of the attraction. The attraction is then operated with the input selection and/or the guest's profile influencing a characteristic of the attraction as perceived by the guest. A mobile application gameplay may unlock specified game features to change the attraction experience. The attraction may alternatively be a theater or game arcade type of attraction.

Abstract: A system and method for scoring and comparing communities includes the development of community health measures by on combining and supplementing healthcare data and community data from numerous sources. The community health measures may be stored in a community health measures database and may be accessed by interactive tools to generate customized representations of healthcare measures for selected communities. The representations are automatically computed in response to interactive user selections. Geographic map representation, heat map representations and data tables may be automatically generated to identify correlations between health outcomes and population attributes in different communities.

Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods for reporting information in real time about traffic generated by each application for a device are described. In one aspect, the network can configure a list of applications user equipment (UE) devices need to report traffic information for and then when one of these applications starts a communication, the UE may send traffic descriptor(s) describing the traffic generated by the application. In this way the network can accurately identify the traffic and take actions based on UE report and local policy or subscription.

At least one of the path, special effects, onscreen graphics and scoring may be modified according to the rider's character.

Abstract: A method, operational at a network device, for conveying congestion information across different strata of a multi-strata network is provided. An indication is obtained that a congestion level for at least one of a radio access network node and a core network node of a network has changed. Consequently, a one or more service parameters for a plurality of services, operating at a service stratum, are updated or adjusted on a per service basis based on the congestion level indication. The one or more service parameters are provided or sent to, at least one of, a node operating at a service stratum or a user device that obtains services over the network.

Abstract: A system and a method are provided including a controller for a refrigeration or HVAC system having a compressor rack with at least one compressor. The controller communicates with a tracking module configured to diagnose health of a compressor in the compressor rack. In response to rated performance data for the compressor being unavailable, the tracking module is configured to generate baseline data for the compressor and to diagnose health of the compressor by comparing operational data of the compressor to the baseline data for the compressor. In response to the rated performance data for the compressor being available, the tracking module is configured to diagnose health of the compressor by comparing the operational data of the compressor to the rated performance data for the compressor.

Abstract: A system includes a system controller for a refrigeration or HVAC system having a compressor rack with at least one compressor and a condensing unit with at least one condenser fan. The system includes a rack controller for the compressor rack. The rack controller is in communication with the system controller. The system includes a condensing unit controller for the condensing unit. The condensing unit controller is in communication with the system controller. The system controller receives component identification information identifying components of the compressor rack and the condensing unit, retrieves component information including at least one of component specification information, component capacity information, and component capability information, based on the component identification information, and performs setup operations based on the component information.

Abstract: Systems and methods for performing dynamic coefficient of performance calculations for refrigeration systems are provided. A controller calculates a weighted Carnot efficiency of a refrigeration case based on outdoor temperature data, refrigeration case temperature data, a case load of a refrigeration case, and a case defrost status of the refrigeration case. The controller calculates a weighted coefficient of performance based on based on a refrigerant type, the case load of the refrigeration case, the case defrost status of the refrigeration case, and at least one of the of the refrigeration case temperature data and pressure data. The controller calculates a system performance index (SPI) for the refrigeration case based on the weighted Carnot efficiency of the refrigeration case and weighted actual Carnot efficiency. The controller generates, in response to the SPI being below a threshold, an output indicating that the refrigeration case is operating below a threshold efficiency.

Abstract: A gateway device detects a trigger associated with a device and, in response, identifies an application service associated with the device, obtains a traffic network policy associated with the application service, and obtains a network access token based on the traffic network policy. The network access token facilitates validating and/or mapping a downlink data packet obtained at the gateway device in user-plane traffic that is destined for the device. The network access token is sent to an entity in control-plane signaling. Subsequently, the gateway device obtains a downlink data packet including the network access token. The gateway device verifies the network access token and/or maps the downlink data packet to the device using data obtained from the network access token. The network access token may be removed from the downlink data packet before the downlink data packet is sent to the device according to the mapping.

Abstract: Systems and methods for control and triggering of machine to machine (M2M) devices (e.g., smart meters). More specifically how to allow an M2M service provider (e.g., utility company) to use an operator's network to communicate with the M2M device connected with a UE/GW associated with the operator's network. The M2M service provider may receive identification of the UE/GW, but not for the M2M device. By transmitting an identifier for the M2M device along with an identifier for the UE/GW, the network operator may define establish and maintain a communication path specific to M2M devices. Similar techniques may be incorporated to allow the M2M service provider to locate and trigger the M2M device.

Abstract: A method for registration-less paging includes establishing a mobile device identity for a mobile device in a wireless network, determining a time instance for the identified mobile device to listen to pages, and sending a page from the wireless network to the identified mobile device during the determined time instance. In one example, the method is for a network-initiated attach procedure and includes receiving a request to attach a mobile device in a wireless network, generating a paging message based on the request to attach the mobile device, sending a paging indicator to a mobile device based on the paging message during a time instance based on an agreed rule, and accepting an attach procedure from the mobile device based on the paging indicator.

Abstract: A system and method are provided including a system controller for a refrigeration or HVAC system having a compressor rack with a compressor and a condensing unit with a condenser fan. The system controller monitors and controls operation of the refrigeration or HVAC system. A rack controller monitors and controls operation of the compressor rack and determines compressor rack power consumption data. A condensing unit controller monitors and controls operation of the condensing unit and determines condensing unit power consumption data. The system controller receives the compressor rack power consumption data and the condensing unit power consumption data, determines a total power consumption of the refrigeration or HVAC system, determines a predicted power consumption or a benchmark power consumption for the refrigeration system, compares the total power consumption with the predicted power consumption or the benchmark power consumption, and generates an alert based on the comparison.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus supporting multiple concurrent service contexts sharing a single connectivity context are disclosed. A device may initiate a radio link with a network node and establish a connectivity context with the network node over the radio link using a connectivity logical context of the device. The network node may receive, authenticate, and authorize context establishment requests. A first service context with a first service management entity may be established over the radio link using a first logical context of the device, where the first logical context is distinct from the connectivity logical context. Multiple service connections using multiple service contexts based on multiple logical contexts of the device may share the connectivity context and may be established over the radio link.

Abstract: Watercraft hulls and parts thereof are disclosed which improve hydrodynamic performance for yachts, sailboards, and other craft. Drag at the transition from displacement mode to planing mode may be reduced to be the same or less than the minimum drag experienced in planing mode. Exemplary embodiments may include a bow with a center planing surface and tunnels to either side. The bow tunnels may each end in a step. At least part of the center planing surface may be cambered. A spoiler and/or interceptor may be provided at an aft end of a camber of a planing surface. For some hulls, the bow is followed by a main lift surface which is followed by a back lift surface (from stem to stern). In the back lift surface behind the main lift surface, a tunnel surface may be provided to add longitudinal stability.

The UE performs call setup via the visited network to establish the emergency VoIP call with a PSAP, which may be selected based on the first position estimate. The UE may thereafter perform positioning with the location server to obtain an updated position estimate for the UE, e.g., if requested by the PSAP.

Online content retrieved from an online resource may be associated with steps of the client workflow. An authoring service receives the client workflow from the client interface via a network and directs a graph database to store a database workflow corresponding to the client workflow. A search platform is provided for creating and searching workflows using a tag database taxonomy. An author creates a workflow wherein a tag is linked to a workflow item. The workflow is stored as a database workflow and a node in the database workflow representing the workflow item is linked to a node in the database taxonomy representing the tag. Multiple workflows are created in a similar manner to link the workflows to the database taxonomy to provide efficient searching of the workflows.
