  • Publication number: 20200164706
Abstract: A utility vehicle includes a rear frame, a front frame and a coupling body. A height of a vertical section of the front frame is shorter than a height of a vertical section of the rear frame tube, and a ground clearance of an upper face of the front frame tube is shorter than a ground clearance of an upper face of the rear frame. The coupling body connects a rear end of the front frame with a front end of the rear frame. An upper face member of the coupling body includes a forwardly descending sloped face that interconnects an upper face of the rear frame with an upper face of the front frame. A front differential unit is mounted on the front frame. A front drive shaft having a constant velocity joint extends from the front differential unit forwardly of the coupling body and upwardly of the front frame.

  • Publication number: 20200149085
Abstract: Rapid methods that identify sepsis-causing bacteria or yeast aid the physician in critical therapeutic decision-making, thus decreasing patient mortality rates. The methods described herein employ plating microorganisms directly on to a MALDI-MS plate, adding concentrated formic acid, and identifying the microorganism by mass spectrometry. Optionally, an organic solvent may be combined with the formic acid, or added to the sample before or after the concentrated formic acid is added thereto. The methods enable direct extraction of proteins from microorganisms without the need for liquid protein extraction methods and yields positive identification results for gram-positive bacteria, gram-negative bacteria and yeast in minutes.

  • Publication number: 20200137465
Abstract: A telecommunications patch panel system (10) including a plurality of multiport telecommunications bezel assemblies (200) installed within a panel frame (100) is presented. The bezel assemblies (200) are formed from cooperating first and second frame parts (210, 240) to define a plurality of jack receptacle openings (202). In one example, the plurality of jack receptacles (202) are arranged in a two-row array. The first and second frame parts (210, 240) also retain a central bonding strip (290) having a plurality of grounding contact elements (292, 293). The grounding contact elements (292, 293) ground the jack modules (120) that are installed within the bezel assembly jack receptacle openings (202). Where a two-row array of jack receptacle openings (202) is provided, the central bonding strip (290) can be configured to extend between the rows. The central bonding strip (290) can provide grounding for multiple bezel assemblies (200).

  • Patent number: 10631516
Abstract: The present invention relates to new methods of selecting and breeding organisms, in particular organisms which exhibit symbiotic behaviour with symbionts, and to new organisms and symbiota developed thereby, such as plant or grass and endophyte symbiota. Multiple symbionts are deployed in multiple organisms and selected for improved symbiotic compatibility and performance early in the breeding process. Methods include producing improved organisms from germplasm, by inoculating host organism germplasm libraries with symbionts selected from symbiont libraries and selecting improved host organisms exhibiting desired symbiota characteristics, and selection of organism-symbiont associations with a desired genetic and metabolic profile by metagenomic analysis of nucleic acid libraries from an organism or organism-symbiont association.
