  • Patent number: 9469254
Abstract: Speaker systems are provided, particularly for mounting in off-road vehicles, ATVs, UTVs, watercraft and motorcycles. The speaker systems may include a linear array of speakers and a housing encasing a backside thereof. In some cases, the housing includes sliding track mounts along its top and bottom surfaces. In addition or alternatively, the speaker systems may include nut and bolt fasteners arranged on top of the housing and/or mounting brackets arranged along opposing lateral sides of the housing. In some embodiments, a speaker system may be suspended in proximity to an upper bar of a windshield frame, front roll bar, and/or front edge of a roof of a vehicle and adjustable mounting brackets may be used to direct the speakers toward the driver and passenger seats of the vehicle. In some cases, a speaker system may be operationally independent from a stereo of a vehicle in which it is mounted.

  • Publication number: 20160282728
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to apparatus and methods for performing photolithography processes. In one embodiment, a system including multiple interferometers for accurately measuring the location of a substrate during operation is provided. The system may include two chucks, and the two chucks are aligned in a first direction. The interferometers are placed along the first direction to measure the location of the substrate with respect to the first direction. The reduced distance between the interferometers and the chuck improves the accuracy of the measurement of the location of the substrate. In another embodiment, mask pattern data is provided to the system, and the mask pattern data is modified based on location and position information of the substrate. By controlling the mask pattern data with the location and position information of the substrate, less positional errors of the pattern formed on the substrate can be achieved.

  • Publication number: 20160270852
Abstract: A method of implanting a hip joint prosthesis into a patient can include obtaining image data of hip joint anatomy of the patient. Physical activities that the patient desires to participate in subsequent to implanting the hip prosthesis can be determined. A size and an initial placement of the hip joint prosthesis based on the image data can be determined. A desired range of motion of the hip joint prosthesis based on the determined physical activities can be determined. A plan can be created comprising a desired implanted location of the hip joint prosthesis and based on the desired range of motion. The plan can be incorporated onto a guide. The plan can be executed with the guide thereby implanting the hip joint prosthesis into the patient at the desired implanted position.

  • Publication number: 20160252561
Abstract: A test station and method of testing a design under test are disclosed. One method includes applying a first test frequency signal to a reference path to determine a first known attenuation level, and applying the first test frequency signal to a design under test to determine a first tested attenuation level of the design under test at the first test frequency. The method also includes applying a second test frequency signal to the reference path to determine a second known attenuation level, and applying the second test frequency signal to the design under test to determine a second tested attenuation level of the design under test at the second test frequency. The method includes determining whether the design under test is faulty based on the first tested attenuation level and the second tested attenuation level.

  • Patent number: 9342054
Abstract: Various embodiments of the invention relate generally to real-time clock circuit, and more particularly to systems, devices and methods of integrating two oscillators in one real-time clock circuit to generate accurate time of day over an industrial temperature range. A primary oscillator is employed to generate a first high precision clock while having a higher frequency and consuming more power; a secondary oscillator is employed to generate a second clock that has a low frequency and consumes less power, but may not meet the time accuracy requirement. When the real-time clock is provided with sufficient power (MSN mode), time of day is constantly tracked by the primary oscillator, but when the real-time clock is powered by a battery (SLEEP mode), time of day is tracked by the secondary oscillator while the primary oscillator is switched on at an update frequency to compensate errors in the time of day.

  • Patent number: 9287599
Abstract: Described is a miniature tunable filter, comprising at least two adjacent coaxial-type resonators coupled to one another. Each coaxial-type resonator comprises a metal-coated ceramic dielectric cavity having a tuning rod passage formed therethrough. A tuning rod is inserted through the tuning rod passage, such that the miniature tunable filter is tuned by moving the tuning rod into and out of the tuning rod passage of the ceramic dielectric cavity. A low impedance coaxial section surrounds at least a portion of the tuning rod to create an effective microwave short-circuit at a resonant frequency of the miniature tunable filter, which results in very wide tuning and low insertion loss. In a desired aspect, the tuning rod is a solid metal tuning rod. The combination of a solid metal tuning rod with a ceramic coaxial-type resonator results in high radio frequency power handling.
