  • Publication number: 20250114612
Abstract: Disclosed is an automated programming system for a neuromodulation device that is configured to assist a clinician to efficiently program the neuromodulation device for a particular patient. In particular, the assisted programming system comprises a stimulation user interface control that is configured to cause the intensity of the neural stimulus to ramp up with time as long as the patient continues to interact with the control. The value of stimulus intensity at which the patient ceases to interact with the control is recorded as a significant perceptual marker upon which subsequent steps in the assisted programming workflow are based. This user interface design takes advantage of the human withdrawal reflex, whereby the patient is likely to instinctively release the button upon receiving uncomfortable stimulation. The design therefore minimises the training burden placed on the patient in using the assisted programming system.

  • Publication number: 20250114118
Abstract: A tissue-removing catheter for removing tissue in a body lumen includes an elongate body and a tissue-removing element mounted on a distal end portion of the elongate body. The tissue-removing element is configured to remove the tissue as the tissue-removing element is rotated by the elongate body within the body lumen. An inner liner is received within the elongate body. The inner liner defines a guidewire lumen. The inner liner isolates an interior of the guidewire lumen from the elongate body and tissue-removing element such that rotational forces are not transferred from the elongate body and tissue-removing element to the interior of the guidewire lumen when the elongate body and tissue-removing element are rotated during removal of tissue from the body lumen.

  • Publication number: 20250118447
Abstract: A method and system addresses the circumstance where a lack of confidence in the impairment rating has arrested the impairment rating process and additional data collection is no longer possible. One or more incomplete data sets are compared to and corrected with a high accuracy database containing reviewed historical impairment data. An analysis of the data outputs a temporary impairment rating and a recovery score index, which yields a corrected and substantially accurate impairment rating report which can be used within the managed impairment repair process as the worker's compensation claim moves toward claim closure.

  • Patent number: 12270874
Abstract: An insert for an EPR probehead is disclosed. The insert comprises a directional coupler and an amplifier. The directional coupler receives microwave power from a source at a first port and transfers a portion of the received microwave power to a second port for transmission to a sample space. The directional coupler is also arranged to receive a microwave signal from the sample space at the second port and to pass the majority of the received microwave signal to a third port. The amplifier has an input and an output; the input is arranged to receive the microwave signal from the third port of the directional coupler and to produce an amplified version of the received microwave signal at the output for transmission to a detector.

  • Patent number: 12268397
Abstract: A bone cutting guide may include a support that contains a shaft movable relative to the support. The shaft may carry a guide member having one or more cut guides through which a clinician inserts a cutting member to cut bone positioned under the guide cut guides. In operation, a clinician may fixate the support of the bone cutting guide to a bone and translate the guide member until the one or more cut guides are positioned at a desired cut location. The clinician may then perform a cut through the cut guide. In some examples, the bone cutting guide includes additional components, such as bridging member or secondary cut guide, to provide additional functionality.

  • Publication number: 20250109820
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a portable electronic device including a frame body supporting electronic components and a stand mechanism. The stand mechanism includes a foot, and an activator. The foot includes a foot support and a foot shaft including a foot guide path. The activator includes an engaging element, and the engaging element is received by the foot guide path. A portion of the foot guide path extends at an angle relative to a longitudinal axis of the foot shaft. When the activator engages a surface, the engaging element of the activator moves along the portion of the foot guide path at the angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the foot shaft causing the foot support to rotate from a stored position to a deployed position.

  • Publication number: 20250112819
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for monitoring operations of an industrial facility. A gateway device is located at the industrial facility and operably coupled to sensors disposed at the industrial facility. The gateway device executes tasks configured to i) monitor alarms or triggers or other events related to operating conditions of the industrial facility, ii) identify a particular alarm or trigger or other event that is activated or set, iii) identify at least one risk associated with the particular alarm or trigger or other event that is activated or set, and iv) dynamically construct a causal network to evaluate the at least one risk. The tasks can be implemented by a behavior tree (BT) that combines automated causal network generation and risk analysis. Abstract: Disclosed are methods and systems for detection of a discharge of a projectile from a firearm. An example method for detection of a discharge of a projectile from a firearm may commence with recording environmental audio by at least one microphone associated with at least one electronic device. The method may continue with triggering, by a processing unit associated with the at least one electronic device, based on predetermined triggering criteria, a frequency analysis of the environmental audio. The analysis may be performed to determine a likelihood of the projectile being discharged from the firearm. The method may further include transferring, by a data transfer unit associated with the at least one electronic device, results of the frequency analysis from the at least one electronic device to a data storage unit for post-processing.
