Fungal fermentation techniques were used to add hydroxyl groups to artemisinin positions that are difficult to access chemical, namely C-7.

Abstract: A turbine blade includes a blade platform, a blade airfoil that extends from the blade platform toward a blade tip, the blade airfoil having a pressure side wall and a suction side wall joined at a blade leading edge and a blade trailing edge, a tip cap surface defined at an end of the blade airfoil facing the blade tip, a squealer tip wall that extends along a portion of the pressure side wall and a portion of the suction side wall from the tip cap surface to the blade tip and from the blade leading edge toward the blade trailing edge, and a chamfered surface formed as a part of the squealer tip wall at a region that is adjacent to the blade trailing edge.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, devices, subsystems, and systems for holographically displaying three-dimensional objects are provided. In one aspect, an optical device includes: an optical guiding device configured to guide light to propagate along a first direction within the optical guiding device, the light including multiple colors of light; an in-coupling diffractive structure configured to diffract the light to propagate in the optical guiding device; and a plurality of out-coupling diffractive structures arranged downstream of the in-coupling diffractive structure along the first direction and configured to diffract at least part of the light out of the optical guiding device along a second direction different from the first direction. The optical device can be configured for at least one of: color crosstalk suppression among the multiple colors of light, display zero order light suppression, dispersion compensation, or ambient light blocking.

Abstract: A carrier assembly (10) engages a pipe ring for installing the pipe ring in an existing pipeline to repair the existing pipeline. The carrier assembly (10) has a chassis assembly (12), a support arm assembly (14) and a drive system (16). The chassis assembly (12) has the support arm assembly (14) operably connected thereto. The drive system (14) is operably connected to the chassis assembly (12) wherein the chassis assembly (12) is configured to move along the pipeline. The support arm assembly (14) is configured to engage the pipe ring wherein the support arm assembly (14) is moveable relative to the chassis assembly (12) to displace the pipe ring relative to the chassis assembly (12) for installation in the existing pipeline.

Each of the passenger seats includes an articulated seat pan to provide for moving the passenger seat between a first upright position and a second reclined position. In addition, the second passenger seat may be positioned in a staggered configuration with respect to the first passenger seat. A fixed outer privacy shell partially surrounds each seat and includes at least one rear wall and a base attached to the floor of the passenger aircraft for receiving each of the passenger seats. In addition, a center console also may be within each of the fixed outer privacy shell and located adjacent to each of the passenger seats.
