  • Patent number: 10171889
Abstract: A method and network element for implementing a virtual PBX feature for a customer associated with a plurality of endpoints. The method comprises receiving information regarding a call. Based on the information regarding the call, it is determined if the call is an external inbound call or an internal call that identifies a particular one of the endpoints. Responsive to determining that the call is an external inbound call, the call is caused to be routed to the plurality of endpoints associated with the customer, while responsive to determining that the call is an internal call that identifies a particular one of the endpoints, the call is caused to be routed to the particular one of the endpoints. This allows members of a small business or household to share a common external subscriber line, while also allowing the members to reach one another with ease.

  • Publication number: 20170362917
Abstract: An instrument for the mechanical removal of corrosive buildup, deposits or scale from within a wellbore. A tubing-conveyed scraping blade and/or other abrading devices (50) has a collapsible maximum outer diameter by using a multi-bar mechanism (53, 54) to ensure physical contact with corrosive buildup, deposits or scale on surfaces of a surrounding wellbore, oil and gas tubular, or drilling/production marine riser (and, in particular, inner surfaces thereof). The multi-bar mechanism allows for a wide range of motion irrespective of the direction of loading and variable maximum outer diameter to clean corrosive buildup, deposits or scale from tubular goods with unknown configurations and/or dimensions.

  • Patent number: 9571303
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to a method, system and apparatus handling a request for a media-over-packet communication session. The method comprises receiving a request for a media-over-packet communication session destined for a network address. Responsive to determining existence of an active communication session with a first communication client registered to the network address, the method further comprises determining an identifier associated with a second communication client registered to the network address, the second communication client different from the first communication client; and routing the request to the second communication client using the identifier.

  • Publication number: 20170037723
Abstract: A fluid (30) of optically clear composition is used to create a viewing window within a wellbore (1), pipelines, tanks, vessels, or any other similar environment. Selective placement of optically clear fluid facilitates acquisition of visual images and/or other data in particular areas of interest within environments containing opaque or non-transparent fluids. Such optically clear fluid can displace opaque fluids and gases, while maintaining specific viscosity, weight, and other fluid properties in order to keep opaque fluids from encroaching into a viewing area while visual data acquisition is performed.

  • Patent number: 9565217
Abstract: The present invention discloses numerous implementations for IP-based call processing systems that can selectively control an outgoing call initiated by a source device to a destination device. The call processing system communicates with a Service Switching Point (SSP) associated with the source device and determines whether to effect control of the outgoing call. It could determine to effect control of the outgoing call for many reasons including to convey a media message to the source device, to implement a call feature or to manage call restrictions. Upon determining to effect control of the outgoing call, the call processing system causes the SSP to initiate a media connection between the source device and the call processing system. The call processing system can then utilize the media connection with the source device to perform functionality for the outgoing call prior to and/or during the outgoing call.

  • Patent number: 9394763
Abstract: A location and orientation assembly suitable for use in a multi-lateral wellbore may include a coupling portion, an upper muleshoe, a muleshoe spacer and a bottom muleshoe. The bottom muleshoe may connect to the coupling portion through a threaded connection. A method for locating and orienting in a multi-lateral wellbore includes providing a locating and orientation assembly. In the orientation assembly a coupling portion is provided and an upper muleshoe is inserted into the coupling portion. A muleshoe spacer is inserted into the coupling portion so as to matingly contact the upper muleshoe portion. Part of a bottom muleshoe is inserted into the coupling portion so as to matingly contact the muleshoe spacer. The coupling portion is jointed to the bottom muleshoe by a threaded connection.
