  • Publication number: 20220182872
Abstract: Systems and methods establish and maintain end-to-end priority of wireless multimedia priority service (MPS) sessions terminating to subscribers without high priority access. A network device a wireless core network receives a request to establish a bearer for an elevated priority call. The elevated priority call originates from a first user equipment (UE) device in a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connected mode having an elevated priority status and terminates at a second UE device in a RRC connected mode having a non-elevated priority status. The network device determines modification of a terminating bearer for the second UE device is necessary to preclude preemption during periods of network congestion and identifies a high priority parameter of an originating bearer for the first UE device. The network device initiates establishment of the terminating bearer to match the high priority parameter of the originating bearer.

  • Patent number: 11337108
Abstract: Uplink congestion control based on session initiation protocol (SIP) messaging includes receiving SIP messages from user equipment devices (UEs) via established wireless uplink connections; and monitoring a rate of the SIP messages received from the UEs. Uplink congestion control further includes identifying whether the rate of received SIP messages exceeds a first threshold during a first period of time; and sending SIP response messages to the UEs to reduce congestion on the wireless uplink connections upon identifying that the rate of received SIP messages exceeded the first threshold over the first period of time, where the sent SIP response messages instruct the UEs to resend the SIP messages after predetermined time delays.

  • Patent number: 11334576
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer storage media for processing search queries using relevance-based search refinement are provided. In response to a search query, search result items are displayed on a search interface along with selectable guidance attributes. The guidance attributes are an identified ranked set of characteristics of items based on historical user interactions of users interacting with the search result items provided in response to the search query. Upon selection of a guidance attribute, a guidance-attribute control having embedded selectable values is displayed. A selection of an embedded value is received to cause execution of an embedded-value search operation. A first embedded-value search operation is executed to identify a subset of the items using the selected value.

  • Publication number: 20220104217
Abstract: A system described herein may provide a technique for maintaining and implementing a dynamic uplink grant policy for a User Equipment (“UE”) connected to a base station of a radio access network (“RAN”) of a wireless telecommunications network. The dynamic uplink grant policy may be based on historical utilization of radio frequency (“RF”) resources granted to the UE, which may be based on a historical amount of padding (e.g., versus user plane data) included in uplink transmissions from the UE to one or more base stations associated with the wireless telecommunications network. The dynamic uplink grant policy may indicate an amount by which resource grants for a UE should be reduced, compared to an amount of resources requested by the UE.

  • Patent number: 11237824
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products are included for automatically tracking source code changes for a user-customized feature of a software project. Metadata identifying the annotated source code for the user-customized feature is stored in an annotation database. The metadata include a location of the annotated source code within the one or more files of a code repository for the software project and a description of the changes that were made to the annotated source code. The metadata is used to determine whether any subsequent changes made by a second user to the one or more files affect the source code annotated by the first user for the user-customized feature of the software project. One or more automated tasks are performed for the user-customized feature when the subsequent changes are determined to affect the annotated source code.

Abstract: A system and method for providing computer-generated contextual data to an end-point during a digital transaction is provided. A method includes receiving a trigger message relating to a digital transaction between a consumer and a second entity. The trigger message includes a consumer identifier uniquely associated with the consumer and transaction details at least including a characteristic associated with the digital transaction. A data message including information based on an evaluation of the transaction details against a consumer-linked transaction matrix is obtained. The consumer-linked transaction matrix is linked to the consumer and includes information relating to the digital transaction. The data message is transmitted to a remote device with which the consumer interacts during pendency of the transaction and is configured to cause the device to output a prompt to the consumer displaying the data message.

  • Publication number: 20210261785
Abstract: High chroma glitter pigments combine large particle interference pigments and absorption colorants to bring about a unique look. Unlike traditional glitter pigments, the high chroma glitter pigment does not exploit metallic coatings to achieve the sparkle effect. These high chroma glitter pigments produce optical effects and coloration without the need for incorporating additional pigments which, in turn, is a benefit from both a formulation and cost standpoint. In addition to a sparkle effect, the present invention provides high chroma over both dark and light backgrounds, which has been thus far unrealized in prior art. Materials used in the present invention are ethically sourced, environmentally friendly, free of plastic, free of heavy metals, and regulated for cosmetic applications.

  • Publication number: 20210157974
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices supporting data processing are described. In some systems, a data processing platform may support communication message analysis using machine learning. For example, a system may receive a set of communication messages (e.g., social media messages) and perform a machine learning process on the message contents and message interaction data to train a machine learned model. The system may further receive a subject line for a communication message for analysis, input the subject line into the machine learned model, and receive, as an output of the machine learned model, an engagement score based on the subject line. The engagement score may indicate an estimated probability that a user receiving the communication message opens the communication message (e.g., based on the subject line). A user—or the system—may modify the subject line based on the analysis to improve the engagement score.

  • Publication number: 20210144875
Abstract: A flexible input/output (I/O) expansion card connection and communication technique are provided. The flexible I/O expansion card is, in some examples, a mezzanine expansion card that may be a single width mezzanine expansion card, a double width expansion card, or a quad width expansion card. Multiple connectors on a mainboard provide a slot to receive plug in (insertion) of an expansion card. A slot is associated with a communication bus (e.g., Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI)) established between the expansion card and an associated processor. The expansion card (or more than one expansion card) may be inserted in multiple orientations with respect to the multiple connectors. Automatic adjustment of communication on the communication bus may be implemented via one or more hardware level and/or software assisted translations to allow the mezzanine expansion card to function in a normal or a reverse (180 degrees relative to normal) orientation.

  • Patent number: 10994486
Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a three dimensional (3D) printing system includes a printhead and an ink supply subsystem. The printhead is for ejecting drops of phase change ink to define a three dimensional article of manufacture. The ink supply subsystem includes an ink tube, a helical resistor, a return conductor, and an outer tube. The ink tube has an inside surface for contacting and transporting the phase change ink and an outer tubular surface. The resistor is helically wound around the outer tubular surface of the ink tube. The return conductor is helically wound around the resistor and has a resistance that is lower than that of the resistor. The outer tube surrounds and protects the resistor and the return conductor and provides insulation to the heated ink transport component.
