  • Patent number: 11586788
Abstract: In one embodiment, simulation systems and methods perform tessellation, on a GPU in a simulation system, of finite element method (FEM) elements in one or more simulated objects using physics solution data directly obtained by the GPU from the solver. In one embodiment, software compiled to run on the GPU can process the raw, native physics solution data to tessellate non-linear FEM elements without requiring preprocessing or ray tracing. In one embodiment, the tessellation can be performed on the fly based on a user's selected view of the simulated objects, and the selected view can be used to select a subset of the FEM elements and perform a tessellation on only the subset. In one embodiment, a level of tessellation can be dynamically determined based on the user's selected view.

  • Publication number: 20230047192
Abstract: A container for communication devices and communication systems used in cellular networks. There is a need for resilient systems that can withstand extreme weather events. Cellular network infrastructure located close to coastal regions is particularly prone to disruptive failures. A container for an electronic communications device is also provided including: a housing that surrounds at least one mounting plate on which electrical devices and electronic devices are supported. The housing is received around atop edge by a recess in a top plate and around a bottom edge by a recess in a bottom plate. The top and bottom plates are clamped to seal the housing. In some embodiments the housing is connected to a sea borne infrastructure such as buoy. Node frames enable a communications infrastructure that has no single point of failure.

  • Publication number: 20220284089
Abstract: A disclosed method includes assigning a unique identifier to a computer product instance, such as a server, switch, router, or storage device, to be deployed at a data center or other location on behalf of a customer, generating security credentials for the computer product dependent on the identifier, obtaining the credentials by a customer-side automated deployment agent, and using them by the deployment agent during deployment of the computer product. The credentials may be generated by a supplier-side credential management system, then requested and received by the deployment agent over a secure communication channel. The credentials may be generated by a program shared between the supplier-side credential management system and the deployment agent. The identifier may identify a hardware or software component or be selected by the supplier or customer. The credentials may include a username, password, token, cryptographic key, or digital certificate for a first login.

  • Patent number: 11420790
Abstract: A system for palletizing cargo includes a number of components that may be combined to produce an assembled pallet of cargo. A pallet base provides a cargo area where a payload may be stacked. The pallet base includes protective features such as feet that raise the payload above surface level, bumpers that prevent and absorb impacts to the pallet base, and a rim that encircles the cargo area. A pallet top is placed on top of the payload, opposite the pallet base, and a set of straps are used to connect the pallet base to the pallet top and friction fit the payload therebetween. Each of the base and top include a series of holes and spacers that allow airflow to pass around the bottom and top of the payload, while the bumpers allow airflow around the sides, even when the assembled pallets are surrounded by other cargo.

  • Publication number: 20220188742
Abstract: A method and system for determining the time of delivery of an order is performed by a service system. The system receives the order from a customer device, and maps the customer telephone number to a routing telephone number. The system then sends the order with the routing telephone number to a provider, such as a restaurant. The provider prepares the order. A deliveryman calls the routing telephone number when he delivers the order to the customer. The system sets the reception time of the call as the time of delivery of the order. The system then forwards the call to the customer.

  • Publication number: 20220136360
Abstract: A wellbore plug comprises a body received within a tubular in an oil or gas well, and engaging a seat to seal an annulus. A sealing member occludes the bore in a first configuration. A spring urges the sealing member towards one end of the body in the first configuration. A locking member locks the sealing member in the first configuration, and can be unlocked in response to pressure within the bore above a pressure threshold, which permits movement of the sealing member to a second configuration. The spring expands when pressure within the bore is reduced below the threshold to push the sealing member into a third configuration, which permits fluid passage through the bore. A method of pressure testing and a method of injecting fluid into a well is also disclosed, using the wellbore plug.
