  • Publication number: 20220195856
Abstract: A hydraulic fracturing system can include valve apparatuses that control the delivery of fluid to high-pressure pumps that supply the fluid to a wellhead. The valve apparatuses can receive electronic signals from a control system to regulate the flow rate of the fluid to the high-pressure pumps. • Patent number: 11322019
Abstract: Techniques for determining a direction of arrival of an emergency are discussed. A plurality of audio sensors of a vehicle can receive audio data associated with the vehicle. An audio sensor pair can be selected from the plurality of audio sensors to generate audio data representing sound in an environment of the vehicle. An angular spectrum associated with the audio sensor pair can be determined based on the audio data. A feature associated with the audio data can be determined based on the angular spectrum and/or the audio data itself. A direction of arrival (DoA) value associated with the sound may be determined based on the feature using a machine learned model. An emergency sound (e.g., a siren) can be detected in the audio data and a direction associated with the emergency relative to the vehicle can be determined based on the feature and the DoA value.

  • Patent number: 11257396
Abstract: Geospatial data can be converted into audio outputs. For example, a system can receive a dataset indicating geospatial locations of objects within a region. Based on the dataset, the system can generate a virtual map representing the region and including virtual points representing the objects. The virtual points can be spatially positioned at locations in the virtual map corresponding to the geospatial locations of the objects in the region. The system can receive a user input via a user input device for interacting with a particular virtual point among the virtual points in the virtual map. The system can determine one or more sound characteristics for a sound based on receiving the user input. The system can then transmit an audio signal to an audio device for causing the audio device to generate the sound having the one or more sound characteristics, which may assist with exploring the virtual map.

  • Publication number: 20210322086
Abstract: Methods and devices for issuing ablation therapy using a cardiac signal as a trigger for therapy delivery. The cardiac signal itself may be analyzed before and/or between pulsed electrical field outputs to determine when, relative to fiducials within the cardiac signal, the output can safely be delivered. In some examples, the timing of therapy delivery is tailored to the patient's current cardiac state, such as the cardiac rate. In other examples, triggering signals can be analyzed to ensure that the trigger itself is appropriately detected.

  • Publication number: 20210298822
Abstract: Ablation probes and methods of their use. Example probes include probe circuits configured to provide identifying information for the probe itself. The probe circuits may sense probe usage and/or age to determine probe end of life (EOL). In response to EOL, the probe circuit generates an output indicating EOL. The probe electronic circuit may also be configured to monitor probe usage via impedance or other features, independent of such operation by an ablation pulse generator.

  • Publication number: 20210228260
Abstract: Systems and methods for performing and controlling ablation therapy. Examples provide adaptive therapy outputs that allow a user to select among various feedback parameters, parameter limits, and therapy profiles, to be implemented by an ablation system. • Publication number: 20210116583
Abstract: A device includes a memory location adapted to store data, a GPS device adapted to generate information representing a location of the device, a motion detector adapted to determine when the device experiences a predetermined movement, and one or more directional indicators adapted to display a selected direction. The device also includes a processor that performs the following steps: obtain from the GPS device first location data representing a first location, and store the first location data in the memory location. Subsequently, in response to a determination that the device has experienced the predetermined movement, the processor retrieves the first location data from the memory location, obtains from the GPS device second location data representing a second location, determines a direction from the second location to the first location, and causes the one or more directional indicators to indicate the direction.

  • Publication number: 20210015581
Abstract: The inventive alignment frame simplifies the task of attaching a fixation frame to a patient's skull prior to radiotherapy treatments. The frame is adjustably attachable to the fixation frame and is equipped with a bite plate that allows a patient to bite down on the bite plate to immobile the alignment-calibration frame and the attached fixation frame. The positional relationships are adjusted to bring the fixation screws into optimal locations on the patient's skull. Needle calibration assemblies placed into the fixation screw holders include clear needle guides through which a hypodermic needle is inserted to inject anesthetic into the future fixation screw location. The needle calibration assemblies are removed and the optimal length fixation screw is tightened into the anesthetized location. After all the fixation screws are in place, the patient releases the bite plate and the entire alignment-calibration frame is removed from the fixation frame.

  • Publication number: 20200289188
Abstract: Methods and devices for performing ablation using spatially multiplexed waveforms are disclosed. The increased efficacy of monophasic waveforms is combined with the reduced side effects of biphasic waveforms by distributing components of the waveform across multiple electrodes. Charge balancing occurs upon completion of therapy delivery within a time period that avoids muscle stimulation, while allowing unbalanced waveforms to be delivered during stimulation.

Abstract: Methods and devices for performing ablation using time multiplexed waveforms are disclosed. The increased efficacy of monophasic waveforms is combined with the reduced side effects of biphasic waveforms by distributing components of the waveform across over a broader time interval than that typically used in a conventional biphasic waveform. Charge balancing occurs upon completion of therapy delivery within a time period that avoids muscle stimulation, while allowing unbalanced waveforms to be delivered during stimulation.
