  • Publication number: 20220058284
Abstract: Disclosed is a system to efficiently compute validity of a block chain controlling access to an encrypted data. The block chain defines user permissions to access the encrypted data. The system creates a computational checkpoint proving a validity of the block chain based on the user permissions defined in the block chain. The system performs an expensive computation from an initial block in the block chain to a last block in the block chain, wherein the expensive computation validates each block between the initial block and the last block. The system creates a proof of the validity of the block chain based on the expensive computation and stores the proof after the last block in the block chain. The system can provide the proof of the validity, without performing the expensive computation, where verifying the proof is at least ten times faster than the expensive computation.

  • Publication number: 20220054250
Abstract: The present disclosure pertains to membranous tissue grafts comprising one or more pre-made attachment points. The one or more pre-made attachment points may include pre-made markings and/or pre-made suture holes. The membranous tissue grafts can be in the form of a tube. The membranous tissue grafts can also be rectangular in shape and can be used in a nerve repair by wrapping the severed or damaged nerve. In some embodiments, the membranous tissue grafts are suitable for repairing severed nerves that have a short gap or no gap with a gap of less than 5 mm between the severed stumps. Accordingly, methods are provided for repairing a damaged or severed nerve by implanting the membranous tissue grafts on to the damaged or severed nerve.

  • Publication number: 20220044446
Abstract: A method to compress an image includes assigning each pixel of the image to a cluster based on a red-green-blue (RGB) location of the pixel. The method also includes updating a centroid of the cluster after each pixel is assigned, based at least in part on the RGB location of the pixel, where the centroid is an RGB location. The method includes replacing each pixel in the image with an RGB value of the centroid of the cluster to which the pixel is assigned. The method also includes instructing a display to display a compressed image where, in the compressed image, each pixel in the image is replaced with the RGB value of the centroid of the cluster to which the pixel is assigned.

  • Publication number: 20220031993
Abstract: A humidification system for delivering humidified gases to a user can include a heater base, humidification chamber having an inlet, outlet, and associated fluid conduit, and breathing circuit including a supply conduit, inspiratory conduit, and optional expiratory conduit. The humidification system can include various features to help make set-up less difficult and time-consuming. For example, the supply conduit, inspiratory conduit, and optional expiratory conduit can be coupled into a one-piece circuit to aid set-up. Various components can be color-coded and can have corresponding structures to indicate which components should be connected to one another during set-up. Such features can also help make the set-up process more intuitive for an operator, which can reduce the need for specialized training and reduce the number of potential errors.

  • Patent number: 11221406
Abstract: Method and apparatus for monitoring amounts of submerged solid consumable. A GWR (Guided Wave Radar) component can provide a measurement of a reflection at a fixed position in a particle bed. The reflection represents aggregate dielectric properties in a vessel. The measurement includes hydrocarbon and solid consumable properties of a mixture in the vessel, wherein a measurement value is indicative of a greater amount of the solid consumable in the mixture in the vessel. If data is measured by the GWR component indicating that the measurement value is approaching the measurement value of the hydrocarbon, this data is indicative that the material (e.g., solid consumable such as salt) in the vessel should be replenished.
