  • Publication number: 20230267745
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices are described for monitoring and protecting electronic hardware, data assets, and the facility itself, particularly well-suited to monitoring remote facilities and resources in edge locations, including for determining door state for both equipment and personnel doors, and for determining values of one or more environmental parameters, using optical image analytics. An example system includes one or more edge-located hardware monitoring devices having one or more physical sensors, and custom software distributed across edge, cloud, mobile, and enterprise platforms. An example monitoring device can include an embedded computer, various sensors of different types, one or more cameras, a power supply, and several communication interfaces. All or virtually all sensing and processing capabilities can be integrated into the edge device, which utilizes low-cost sensors and video analytics to monitor the environment.

  • Publication number: 20230185950
Abstract: Presented here is a system that manages secured file system, and an authority to the secured file system, by granting access only to a user who is authorized to access the file system. The user within the system is identified using a unique key unique to each user. The user's authority is recorded in a linear sequence distributed among multiple devices each of which independently verifies the validity of each block in the linear sequence. The validity of the linear sequence is guaranteed by preventing certain operations from being performed on the linear sequence, such as branching of the linear sequence, deletion, and modification of the blocks within the linear sequence. Prior to adding a new block to the linear sequence, the validity of the block is independently computed by each of the devices.

  • Patent number: 11657541
Abstract: A method to compress an image includes assigning each pixel of the image to a cluster based on a red-green-blue (RGB) location of the pixel. The method also includes updating a centroid of the cluster after each pixel is assigned, based at least in part on the RGB location of the pixel, where the centroid is an RGB location. The method includes replacing each pixel in the image with an RGB value of the centroid of the cluster to which the pixel is assigned. The method also includes instructing a display to display a compressed image where, in the compressed image, each pixel in the image is replaced with the RGB value of the centroid of the cluster to which the pixel is assigned.

  • Publication number: 20230125725
Abstract: Disclosed is a system and method to create an encrypted file system on a block chain. The system creates the block chain controlling an access to the encrypted file system. The block chain defines a user permission to access at least a portion of the encrypted file system. The system creates the encrypted file system by recording a unique file ID in the block chain, where the unique file ID stores a chunk index including memory locations of multiple chunks storing portions of a file in the encrypted file system. The system encrypts the file using a channel session key and a file encryption key. The channel session key includes a cryptographic key computed based on information known to users granted at least a temporary access to the file, and the file encryption key includes a cryptographic key used to encrypt each file in the encrypted file system.

  • Patent number: 11636456
Abstract: Techniques and arrangements for analyzing previous tickets of a customer at different merchants—specifying interactions of the customer at the different merchants—to determine subsequent recommendations to send to a particular merchant in real-time when the customer is located at the particular merchant. Other techniques and arrangements facilitate annotation of merchant tickets by the merchants to enrich the data maintained by the tickets and, in some instances, to enhance the described real-time recommendations. Still other techniques and arrangements create a merchant ticket for recording interactions between a merchant and customer upon the customer creating a reservation at the merchant for a specified future time, or being added to a waitlist of the merchant. Upon the customer arriving at the merchant proximate to the specified future time, the merchant may use the created ticket to track items ordered by the merchants, track tenders used to pay for items, and the like.

  • Patent number: 11630910
Abstract: A block chain defining authority and access to confidential data may not be encrypted, and the access to the block chain can be regulated by the block chain itself and an access control server operating in an enterprise information technology (IT) environment. To incorporate authority defined in multiple sources, such as the block chain and the access control server, a token can be created containing multiple layers of permissions, i.e. constraints, coming from multiple sources. Each additional permission attenuates the authority granted by the token. When a processor controlling the access to the block chain receives the token, the processor can check the validity of the token and the authority granted by the token to determine whether the requester is authorized to access at least a portion of the block chain.
