Abstract: Concepts for presenting display features to a user of a system which comprises a display, an acquisition device, and a controller system. In various embodiments, the acquisition device is configured to capture image data of one or more items moving along a conveying mechanism and read item identifiers associated with each item. The system then associates or identifies display features with each item identifier and presents the captured image data with the display features presented on or near the image data of the items.

Abstract: A sprinkler apparatus includes a sprinkler head, a riser which is in fluid communication with a fluid inlet and the sprinkler head, a base for supporting and maintaining the sprinkler head in an upright position when the base is in contact with the ground or other surface; and wherein, the riser extends substantially vertically from the base a distance at least twice the width of the base and the base is configured to allow the apparatus to be pulled over the ground.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for portable load balancing and source optimization are described herein. One portable load balancing and source optimization system, includes one or more electric generators that supply three phase electrical power, at least one sensor to sense whether the three phases have become unbalanced beyond a threshold amount, a set of contactors that enable the contacts of the three phases to be changed to adjust the balance of the three phases, and a controller to determine which reversible contactors of the set of contactors to change to adjust that balance of the three phases based on information from the sensor.

Abstract: A biodegradable drug implant for reducing, preventing or treating pain and/or inflammation in a patient is provided. The biodegradable drug implant comprises dexamethasone and a polylactic acid polyglycolic acid (PLGA) copolymer matrix, wherein the dexamethasone comprises from about 50% to about 80% by weight of the drug implant. Methods of treating pain in a patient are also provided.

Abstract: A high moisture, high fiber baked product is provided comprising a high moisture baked component, such as a bread component, comprising a crystalline polysaccharide of a type and amount effective to increase total dietary fiber content retention and reduce firmness as determined by penetration and compression force, of the high moisture baked component as compared to a similar baked product lacking the crystalline polysaccharide. Improved moisture retention can also be obtained. Bread doughs containing the selected crystalline polysaccharide materials and methods of making food products incorporating the dough are also provided.

Abstract: A method and system for workflow scheduling and forecasting is disclosed. The method may include automatically generating a predicted workforce schedule for a work tour period, such as a period of several weeks or months, and populating the workforce schedule with workforce members based on prioritized work tour preferences received from the workforce members. A current workload assessment may then be applied to the populated workforce schedule based on current assignment availability and predicted workload for later in the current day. The system may include a workload database, A workforce scheduling server, and a workload allocation server. The workload database contains currently available assignments and historical workload levels and a business rule database containing workforce hours requirements. The workforce scheduling server generates a workforce schedule that the workload allocation server uses to distribute existing, and predict future, tasks among the scheduled workforce.

Abstract: A method and system for providing a workflow integrated troubleshooting tool. The system may include a central workflow server from which network technicians may obtain trouble tickets and with which the technician may analyze and solve problems identified in the trouble tickets. The workflow server may automatically provide recommended workflows to technicians with step-by-step guidance instructions accompanied by relevant links to appropriate diagnostic software tools. The workflow server mediates between formats of information from a customer database and from any of a number of diagnostic software applications. The method may include permitting a technician centralized login and authentication to each of a number of separate diagnostic tools, prioritization of trouble tickets and automated workflow suggestions and testing through a common graphic user interface.

In an embodiment, the method comprises providing at least one protein source; providing at least one multivalent ion source; providing a liquid source separate from the multivalent ion source; simultaneously dispensing the protein source and the multivalent ion source with the liquid source; and aerating during the dispensing to produce the stable foam. The foam has an improved stability, texture and mouthfeel.

The chair frame is pivotally connected to at least one of the front and back frames. The stabilization frame is pivotally connected to the back frame. The stabilization frame provides stability to the fishing chair when the fishing chair is being used in the middle of a body of water.

In one embodiment, these elements communicate with one another via the hub through use data translation and manipulation units. The hub can maintain records regarding which data translation and manipulation units are capable of supporting communications with which external services. The hub can also maintain records, in a preferred embodiment, of which external services are authorized to use a given data translation and manipulation unit and/or to otherwise access a given service provider.

Abstract: An apparatus for building muscle memory to develop a more rapid baseball swing and avoid casting of the hands and bat during the swing. Such apparatus includes a first attachment member connectable to an upper arm and a second attachment member connectable to an opposing forearm interposed by an elongated tether to be aligned along a forearm upon initially entering into a hitter's stance. A method for using such apparatus is also disclosed herein.
