  • Publication number: 20190280590
Abstract: A power conversion circuit providing a regulated output voltage to a load can include a switching regulator with an input configured to be coupled to an input voltage source and an output configured to be coupled to the load. The power conversion circuit can further include a metered charge transfer converter, such as a charge pump or a switched or pulsed current source, having an input configured to be coupled to an input voltage source and having an output configured to be coupled to the load. A controller coupled to the metered charge transfer converter can be configured to operate the metered charge transfer converter to deliver energy to the load responsive to a dip of the regulated output voltage below a threshold caused by an increase in current drawn by the load. The metered charge transfer converter may be located closer to the load than the switching regulator.

  • Patent number: 10394601
Abstract: A media balancer can assist in selecting replacement media items to be used in generating one or more target schedules from a single master schedule. The media balancer can receive option parameters indicating preferences related to generation of the target schedule. Based on these option parameters, the media balancer can select one of multiple different media schedulers to assist in evaluating potential replacement media items. The media balancer can transmit to the media scheduler selected, information associated with the option parameters, and a request to perform an evaluation of potential replacement media items based on those option parameters. The media balancer can receive the results of the evaluation performed by the selected media scheduler, and use those results to generate target schedules by replacing at least one original media item included in the master schedule with a replacement media item.

  • Patent number: 10380440
Abstract: A smart device is provided with an application program for displaying a video feed received from the smart device's camera. The application can determine the coordinates for an intersection point, which is a point on the ground where the smart device is pointing at. The application can display a target on the visual representation of the intersection point. Based on whether the smart device is at an appropriate distance from the intersection point, the user interface can superimpose an indicator on the video feed received from the camera. This can inform the user whether the smart device is at an optimal scan distance from the intersection point (or an object) so that the object can be identified by a machine learning model.

  • Patent number: 10380297
Abstract: Embodiments relate to designing of integrated circuits using generation and instantiation of circuit stencils. The circuit stencil represents an abstracted version of the circuit segment. The circuit stencils include collapsed versions of the connectivity information of components and nodes of the integrated circuit. The collapsed version of the connectivity information is generated by analyzing functionality of the circuit segment and removing or replacing at least one redundant component or node of the circuit segment without modifying the functionality. The circuit stencil is used for instantiating or referencing components into a second integrated circuit.

  • Publication number: 20190228184
Abstract: Methods and apparatus to assign demographic information to panelists are disclosed. An example disclosed method includes generating decoy database proprietor identifiers to protect privacies of members of panelist households corresponding to panelist database proprietor identifiers, the decoy database proprietor identifiers to be determined based on a probability density function so that a quantity of the decoy database proprietor identifiers is less than would be used if the decoy database proprietor identifiers were selected by a random selection process. The example method also includes querying a server at a database proprietor using the panelist database proprietor identifiers and the decoy database proprietor identifiers, to obtain demographic information and assigning, by executing an instruction with a processor, the panelist database proprietor identifiers to panelists in the panelist households based on the demographic information obtained from the server at the database proprietor.
