  • Patent number: 12261754
Abstract: Provided are methods and systems for using synthetic resource records to configure and manage web applications and various online services. A user is provided with the ability to setup a single synthetic resource record for their domain such that all of the associated dependent resource records are automatically configured and added to the domain as well. The methods and systems provided utilize synthetic resource records as a way of logically grouping resource records into “human readable” sets of resource records. Through synthetic resource records, users are able to address common configuration issues without having to know the technical specifications of associated zone files or resource records. Additionally, users can complete a variety of configuration tasks related to setting-up web applications without having to look-up resource record values from external sites (e.g., from the domain host).

  • Patent number: 11847814
Abstract: Systems, methods, and software described herein to manage preferences for video search. In one implementation, a video processing service may receive a request for video data that satisfies one or more criteria, wherein the one or more criteria includes at least one color for an object. In response to the request, the video processing service may identify one or more secondary colors associated with the at least one color and update the one or more criteria to include the one or more secondary colors. The video processing service may then select the video data from a video source that satisfies the updated one or more criteria.

  • Publication number: 20060028725
Abstract: An improved method of forming an intrinsic polarizer, referred to as a K-type polarizer, includes stretching a polymeric film a first stretching step. The polymeric film comprises a hydroxylated linear polymer which is converted after the first stretching step to form dichroic, copolymer polyvinylene blocks aligned in the polymeric film. The polymeric film is stretched in a second stretching step while converting the hydroxylated linear polymer. This method produces an improved K-type polarizer with excellent polarizing and color characteristics. For example, the dichroic ratio is higher than 100, the color shift for light passed through the polarizer in a crossed configuration is low, and the absorption of light in the blue region of the visible spectrum is more than one half of the absorption for light in the middle of the visible spectrum.
