  • Publication number: 20190357986
Abstract: A navigation system is disclosed comprising a first and a second tracker support separately affixed to the same rigid object by a distance. A first and a second plurality of trackable elements are secured to the first and second tracker supports, respectively. The navigation system defines a tracking arrangement to be tracked based on a combination of the first and second plurality of trackable elements. A geometry of the tracking arrangement relative to the rigid object is registered. The navigation system has a localizer configured to track the rigid object by detecting the registered geometry of the tracking arrangement. The navigation system identifies a condition wherein at least one trackable element has been displaced relative to the registered geometry, and in response, generates a response to address the condition.

  • Publication number: 20190321126
Abstract: Systems, methods and software are provided for aiding in positioning of a camera relative to objects in a surgical environment. The camera has a 3D field of view and senses positions of the objects in the field of view. A controller is coupled to the camera and defines a first zone and a second zone within the field of view. Each zone defines a range of acceptable positions for one of the objects relative to a position of the camera. The controller receives the position of the objects. A graphical user interface displays image representations of: the field of view, the first zone relative to the field of view, the second zone relative to the field of view, the position of one object relative to the first zone, and the position of another object relative to the second zone.

  • Patent number: 9016844
Abstract: Method and Apparatus for Reducing Ink Foaming in a Continuous Inkjet Printer The invention provides a method of and apparatus for reducing foam formation in the returned ink in a continuous inkjet printer. The returned ink is subjected to deceleration and is reduced in pressure, preferably by being directed into a sub-chamber which reverses the direction of flow and provides an elevated edge over which the ink overflows. The de-aeration facility is preferably incorporated in an ink service module.

  • Patent number: 8908493
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method for use in a cognitive radio. A Fourier transform of a time domain signal is performed to obtain a series of frequency domain samples covering substantially the entire predetermined RF spectrum, the time domain signal corresponding to the RF waveform, each frequency domain sample being characterized by a predetermined waveform characteristic. The predetermined waveform characteristic of each frequency domain sample is evaluated in each subcarrier block to obtain a subcarrier block activity level for each subcarrier block. A subcarrier block is selected when its subcarrier block activity level is greater than a predetermined threshold.

  • Publication number: 20140220935
Abstract: Methods and systems for injecting a wireless message in a cellular communication system. The attacking system receives a synchronization waveform from a base station and synchronizes in time and frequency. The attacking system transmits the correct time and frequency, and also transmits one or more attack messages. The mobile transceiver receives the one or more attack messages and responds. The attacking system then transmits a first wireless message configured to alter a characteristic of a physical layer of the mobile station.
