  • Patent number: 11138108
Abstract: Devices and techniques for logical-to-physical (L2P) map (e.g., table) synchronization in a managed memory device are described herein. For example, a plaintext portion of an L2P map may be updated in a managed memory device. In response to updating the plaintext portion of the L2P map, the updated portion can be obfuscated to create an obfuscated version of the updated portion of the L2P map. Both the updated portion and the obfuscated version of the updated portion can be saved in storage of the memory device. When a request from a host for the updated portion of the L2P map is received, the memory device can provide the obfuscated version of the portion from the storage.

  • Publication number: 20210306214
Abstract: Provisioning industrial internet of things (IIOT) devices arranged for deployment in disparate geographic locations includes grouping a subset of IIOT devices into a batch. Each IIOT device stores a system-wide unique identifier (SWUI) and first communication information that identifies a global computing server. The method includes recording with a first input system the SWUI of each IIOT device in the batch, generating a batch identifier, associating the batch identifier with the batch of IIOT devices or each IIOT device in the batch, and associating the batch identifier with customer information. The customer information is associated with second communication information, which identifies a customer-based computing server. The method includes receiving, at the global computing server, incoming communications from a selected IIOT device, and based on the SWUI, and retrieving the batch identifier.

  • Publication number: 20210237574
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer readable storage media provide dynamic chassis and tire status indications associated with a vehicle. Lift axle status data may be graphically represented by a lift axle indicator dynamically provided in a shared notification/messaging space positioned within the driver's line of sight during a lift axle transition. The lift axle indicator may include a side-view representation of the vehicle including a plurality of axle sections indicating the status of each axle. The lift axle indicator may be suppressed when air pressure is stabilized. Additionally, a graphical representation of data associated with statuses (e.g., air pressure, temperature) of each tire may be provided in a top-down view representation of the vehicle including its associated tire/axle configuration and the tire pressure for each tire. The graphical representation may be configured to reflect the correct number of axles and tires per position, and may further include a tractor versus trailer designation.

  • Publication number: 20210237572
Abstract: Systems, methods and computer readable storage media provide a flexible and variability-accommodating instrument cluster for display on an in-vehicle screen and a user experience interaction model for providing vehicle status-related information via the instrument cluster. The instrument cluster may be shown in a minimized content view, basic content view, or enhanced content view, wherein each content view may include a varying range of displayed information based on a layout template. The driver can easily scroll between the various content views while driving. The instrument cluster may alternatively be shown in a favorites view, amongst a plurality of preconfigured favorites views associated with different drivers, the favorites view including a user-selected set of gauges in a user-selected layout. A steering wheel-based shortcut control is provided that can be assigned to a changeable parameter and used to toggle the parameter in association with an instrument cluster display element while driving.

  • Publication number: 20210237573
Abstract: Systems, methods and computer readable storage media provide a flexible and variability-accommodating instrument cluster for display on an in-vehicle screen and a user experience interaction model for providing dynamic driving-context-relevant information via the instrument cluster. The instrument cluster may be shown in a contextual content view, wherein the contextual content view may include a one or more gauges and/or messaging that are determined to be relevant to a determined contextual state of the vehicle. The contextual state of the vehicle may be determined based on signaling data provided by a plurality of data sources, wherein the signaling data may indicate one or a combination of conditions associated with the contextual state. • Publication number: 20210237576
Abstract: Systems, methods and computer readable storage media provide flexible vehicle status notifications via an instrument cluster displayed on an in-vehicle screen. In some examples, when a non-displayed gauge goes into an out-of-parameter or warning range, the gauge may be dynamically shown in the out-of-parameter or warning state in a container position assigned to the gauge in another display or in a dynamic container position in the instrument cluster. In some examples, a popup notification may be provided to inform the driver of a condition. When there are multiple notifications, they may be grouped into definable severity classifications and prioritized so that a notification determined to be a most important message at the time is presented to the driver in a notification zone central to a driver's field of vision on the instrument cluster that allows for reusing screen space for providing warning and information from a range of data sources.

  • Publication number: 20210224157
Abstract: A variety of applications can include apparatus and/or methods that provide shared parity protection to data in memory devices of a memory system. Parity data of different data streams programmed into different blocks of one or more memory devices can be overlapped and wrapped into slots of a volatile memory arranged as a storage device for the parity data. A parity, map of parity-to-data reflecting the overlapping of the parity data can be maintained in the volatile memory along with the overlapped parity. The parity map can be updated as parity data is generated from further programming of the data streams. The parity contents of the volatile memory, including the parity map, can be transferred to a non-volatile memory in response to a determination of an occurrence of a transfer criterion. The parity contents flushed to the non-volatile memory can be used to allow correct data reconstruction in case of failures in programming.
