  • Patent number: 12135887
Abstract: Apparatus and methods are disclosed, including using a memory controller to partition a memory array into a first portion and a second portion, the first portion and second portion having non-overlapping logical block addressing (LBA) ranges. The memory controller assigns a first granularity of a first logical-to-physical (L2P) mapping table entry for the first portion of the memory array designated for a first usage, and a second granularity of a second L2P mapping table entry for the second portion of the memory array designated for a second usage, where the second granularity is not equal to the first granularity. The memory controller stores the first granularity and the second granularity in the memory array, and stores at least a portion of the first L2P mapping table entry and the second L2P mapping table entry in an L2P cache of the memory controller.

  • Patent number: 12132832
Abstract: Secure methods are described for modifying, erasing, or updating security keys for protected regions of a memory device by using a special firmware object (a key-modification firmware) loaded to the memory device that contains instructions to reprogram, modify, and/or erase the keys. To ensure that this key-modification firmware does not become a security risk, the key-modification firmware object may be protected from subsequent usage in a variety of ways.

  • Patent number: 12130681
Abstract: The device, method, and system embodiments described in this disclosure (i.e., the teachings of this disclosure) enable an authorization circuit having at least one authorization mechanism to cooperate with an access circuit having at least one key mechanism. Upon successfully authorizing at least one datum communicated from the key mechanism of the access circuit, the authorization circuit is arranged to deliver power having determined characteristics to the access circuit. In at least one embodiment, the authorization circuit is arranged as a circuit wired or wirelessly coupled to a power infrastructure in a building. In at least one embodiment, the access circuit is arranged as a smart power plug arranged to temporarily deliver power to a mobile computing device or other electrically powered device. In some cases, power is only delivered after a user consumes certain multimedia information. In some cases, power that is delivered is delivered for only a short time and is measured.

  • Publication number: 20240326791
Abstract: Techniques for determining an optimal trajectory for a vehicle are discussed herein. In some cases, the described techniques include receiving, from a first computing system and by a second computing system (e.g., a computing system associated with a trajectory validation system of the vehicle), a primary trajectory and an alternative trajectory for the vehicle. In some cases, the second computing system is configured to select or otherwise determine whether to select the primary trajectory, the alternative trajectory, or neither trajectory for the vehicle. In some cases, the alternative trajectory is determined by applying a lateral swerve to the primary trajectory.

  • Patent number: 12086077
Abstract: Devices and techniques for efficient obfuscated logical-to-physical mapping are described herein. For example, activity corresponding to obfuscated regions of an L2P map for a memory device can be tracked. A record of discontinuity between the obfuscated regions and L2P mappings resulting from the activity can be updated. The obfuscated regions can be ordered based on a level of discontinuity from the record of discontinuity. When an idle period is identified, an obfuscated region from the obfuscated regions is selected and refreshed based on the ordering.

  • Publication number: 20240256468
Abstract: Devices and techniques for efficient host assisted logical-to-physical (L2P) mapping are described herein. For example, a command can be executed that results in a change as to which physical address of a memory device corresponds to a logical address. The change can be obfuscated as part of an obfuscated L2P map for the memory device and written to storage on the memory device. The change can then be provided a host from the storage.

  • Patent number: 12038290
Abstract: Systems and methods for real time routing of vehicles. In particular, systems and methods are provided for real time routing of vehicles based on encounters with vulnerable road users. Vehicle perception and communication systems can provide live feedback of vulnerable road user locations. Various vulnerable road user behaviors can be identified by vehicle perception systems and flagged for avoidance in a central mapping system. The feedback can be used to route other fleet vehicles around the vulnerable road users.
