Abstract: A method in which a first device forms a peer to peer (P2P) group with a second device is provided. The method includes sending an invitation request to the second device; and performing a negotiation process to form the P2P group with the second device if an invitation response to the invitation request is received from the second device. The invitation response includes device information identifying the second device. The negotiation process is performed using the device information.

Abstract: A mobile broadcast system for delivering a notification event for generation of a notification message for information provisioning to a subscriber receiving a broadcast service is provided. The mobile broadcast system includes a first apparatus for managing subscriber information of the broadcast service, handling generation of at least one notification message according to at least one notification event, and generating a response message indicating generation end of the notification message; and a second apparatus for sending a notification event message for requesting generation of the notification message to the first apparatus according to the at least one notification event, receiving the response message in response thereto, and then handling delivery of the notification message over a broadcast channel or an interaction channel.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for transmitting, receiving, and storing files based on a predetermined container structure are provided. The method includes identifying some or all of files to be transmitted among the stored files; generating transmission information for the identified files and transmitting the transmission information to the receiving device; configuring a header including information about the location of the directory in which each of the identified files is to be stored; and adding the configured header to each of the identified files and transmitting the header-added files to the receiving device.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for automatically supplying insulin based on exercise amount are provided. Abstract: Service guide transmission/reception methods and apparatuses for providing users with a service guide supporting multiplay service are provided. Service guide delivery information is received at a terminal. Device class grouping information is extracted from the Service guide delivery information. A Service Guide Data Unit (SGDU) having service guide information required for composing a service guide matched to the terminal is received. The service guide composed using the service guide information received by means of the SGDU is displayed.

Abstract: Provided is a broadcasting system based on a network using an Internet protocol (IP). In the broadcasting system, a broadcast transmitter previously transmits first access information including a first network address for transmitting a general notification message and second access information associated with management of the broadcasting system, to a broadcast receiver. If a general notification event occurs, the general notification message is generated and the generated general notification message is transmitted to the broadcast receiver via one of a broadcast network and an interaction network using the first network address. The broadcast receiver receives a general notification message based on the first network address in data received from the broadcast transmitter.

Abstract: An exercise management method, apparatus, and system by which a user can appropriately exercise without trainer's help are provided. Abstract: A method and system for securing access to configuration information stored in universal plug and play data models are provided. The method includes receiving a request to operate on at least one node of a data model from a Control Point (CP), where the data model includes a plurality of nodes and each of the plurality of nodes represents configuration information, determining a role associated with the CP, determining whether the role of CP is in a recommended role list, allowing, if the role is present, the CP to operate on the at least one node, and determining, if the role is not present, whether the CP has a role appropriate for operating on the at least one node based on ACL data associated with the at least one node. Accordingly, the CP is allowed to operate on the at least one node or an error message is returned on a display of the CP.

Abstract: A method and system for providing security to Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) operations in a home network environment based on ownership rights where a request is received from a Control Point (CP) to perform an UPnP action associated with an UPnP resource. It is determined whether the CP holds an ownership right to perform the UPnP action based on ownership data associated with the UPnP resource. Accordingly, the CP is authorized to execute the UPnP action on the UPnP resource or an error message is returned to the CP based on the ownership of the UPnP resource.

Abstract: A method of updating software of terminals in a mobile broadcast system is provided. The method includes creating an update command for terminals of a particular model, the update command including update information; and broadcasting the created update command. The update information includes software version information and at least one of terminal manufacturer information and terminal model information. Further, the method may further include, before broadcasting the created update command, forcibly requiring terminals subscribe to an update service; and creating and broadcasting an update file for terminals of the particular model from among the forcibly subscribed terminals. The software of the terminals may be firmware.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing a stable streaming service in transmitting data in a streaming form is provided. Abstract: A method for providing a notification message in a transmitter of a mobile broadcast system supporting an interaction channel is disclosed. Upon an occurrence of a notification event, a first means generates a notification message, and generates at least one delivery request message including a target address based on subscription information of the corresponding terminal, using the generated notification message. A second means determines a channel over which it will deliver a notification message to the corresponding terminal based on the target address, and delivers the notification message over the determined channel.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for transmitting/receiving encryption information in a mobile broadcast system providing broadcast service (BCAST) are disclosed. In the mobile broadcast system, a broadcast (BCAST) Service Distribution/Adaptation (BSD/A) unit comprises a transmitter for transmitting a Registration Key Material (RKM) request message for requesting delivery of an RKM for registration of the BCAST service of a terminal to a BCAST Subscription Management (BSM) unit managing subscriber information of the terminal, and a receiver for receiving an RKM request response message from the BSM unit. The RKM request message includes an identifier (ID) of the BCAST service, and the RKM request response message includes the ID of the BCAST service and the RKM. The transmitter transmits a Long-Term Key Message (LTKM) request message for requesting delivery of an LTKM provided to the terminal during subscription of the BCAST service to the BSM unit.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for subscribing to a digital broadcasting service using mobile network subscription information in a system where a 3G (third generation) mobile communication network interacts with a DBS (digital broadcasting system) are provided. When a user requests subscription to the digital broadcasting service through a digital broadcasting-enabled mobile equipment, a DBS-CSCF (call session control function) in the 3G network transmits to an SAS (subscription agent server) of the DBS a service subscription request including the mobile subscription information or additional user personal information. The SAS processes the subscription and transmits information required for reception of the digital broadcasting to the mobile equipment. The mobile equipment changes its digital broadcasting reception setting.

Abstract: A roaming service method in a mobile broadcasting system and a system thereof are provided. A terminal receives a service guide from a corresponding visited service provider (Visited SP) when the terminal moves to a roaming area. The terminal transmits a roaming request message for requesting a purchase item allowable for individual services to a home service provider (Home SP) based on the received service guide. Upon receipt of the roaming request message, the Home SP negotiates roaming availability and allowable scope for each individual service with the Visited SP where the terminal is located, based on the roaming request message. The Home SP transmits the roaming availability and allowable scope for the individual service, negotiated with the Visited SP, to the terminal.
