  • Publication number: 20070237300
Abstract: Disclosed is an X-ray tube system with a disassembled carbon nanotube substrate for generating micro focusing level electron beams. A housing provides a vacuum space. An anode forms an electric field by a voltage applied from the outside and accelerates the electrons emitted from the cathode to reach the anode itself. A carbon nanotube substrate used as a cathode corresponding to the anode. A cathode plate supports and fixes the carbon nanotube substrate and applies a voltage to the carbon nanotube substrate. A sample probe is installed assemblably/disassemblably in the housing. A grid electrode is installed in front of the carbon nanotube substrate and extracting electrons from the carbon nanotube substrate in an easy manner. An electron focusing lens focuses the electrons passed through the grid electrode to form a micro level focus in the anode. • Publication number: 20060176789
Abstract: A data line switching circuit of an optical pickup device is disclosed. In order to drive multiple formats of optical disks, the data line switching circuit applies data signals of a corresponding format to the optical pickup device through a common connector by connecting data lines of the corresponding format to the common connector according to control signals from a control unit, thereby minimizing the number of terminals of the connector to obtain a miniaturized optical pickup device.

  • Patent number: 7049736
Abstract: Background plasma electrons in a laser wake field are trapped and accelerated using a sharp downward density transition. A short and intense laser pulse travels through low density plasma with a sharp downward density transition. The density transition scale length is much smaller than the wavelength of a laser wake wave. As the laser wake wave passes the density transition, its wavelength increases suddenly so that some background plasma electrons are self-injected into the acceleration phase of the wake field and trapped and accelerated by the strong laser wake field.

  • Publication number: 20040218502
Abstract: An optical pickup includes an optical module that detects an information signal and/or an error signal by radiating light to a recording medium and receives light reflected by the recording medium. The optical module includes a light source; an optical path changer that changes a path of light emitted from the light source; a main photodetector that receives light that is reflected off a recording medium back to the optical module to detect an information signal and/or an error signal; and a hologram element that generates an astigmatism of the light incident onto the optical module. Since most optical elements of the optical pickup except an objective lens are packaged in the optical module, the entire structure of the optical pickup can be simplified and the number of bonding points for fixing the optical elements of the optical pickup on a base can be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20020150002
Abstract: An optical pickup compatible with an optical disc having a deflection error. The optical pickup includes a blade on which an objective lens is mounted, a focus coil and a tracking coil mounted around the blade, and a magnet and a yoke driving the blade by generating an electromagnetic force induced by the current flowing through the focus and tracking coils, wherein the magnet is displaced a predetermined distance from the center line of the blade such that the electromagnetic force acting on the blade in a focus direction is asymmetrical. The structure of the optical pickup causes an intentional radial rolling of the blade to make the optical axis of the objective lens approximately perpendicular to the recording surface of the disc. Therefore, the optical pickup is effective for a focus control on a disc having a deflection error.
