Abstract: The present invention relates to a variable water discharge pipe for a faucet with improved durability by making strong a structure of both ends of the variable water discharge pipe. The variable water discharge pipe installed in a faucet connected to waterworks according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention comprises a soft conduit line formed to allow water to flow inside and to have bushings inserted into both ends of the conduit line, a flexible pipe formed to surround an external circumferential surface of the conduit line, holders formed to fix both ends of the conduit line, and joints provided at both ends of the flexible pipe and formed to support the respective holders. The flexible pipe and the joints are fixed to each other through fusion. The variable water discharge pipe further comprises locking projections formed in an external circumferential surface of each of the bushings in order to firmly fix the bushings within the conduit line.

Abstract: A beverage container is disclosed. The disclosed beverage container comprises a container provided with a receiving space for containing a beverage; a submerged straw submerged within the container, and provided with a blocking member of a thin foil; a flexible tube capable of being deformed elastically and installed at the container so as to communicate with the submerged straw; a sucking straw installed at one end of the flexible tube and provided with a perforating portion capable of penetrating the blocking member, when necessary, with the flexible tube compressed so as to communicate with the submerged straw; and a sealing means detachably coupled to a sucking portion of the sucking straw so as to protect the sucking portion of the sucking straw from external contaminants.

Abstract: A defrosting apparatus for a refrigerator and a method for controlling the defrosting apparatus, wherein the refrigerating compartment is cooled irrespective of the internal temperature of the freezing compartment when the internal temperature of the refrigerating compartment is higher than a predetermined temperature, so that the refrigerating compartment is maintained below the predetermined temperature. The defrosting operation is carried out in accordance with the drive times of the compressor and refrigerating compartment fan when the internal temperature of the refrigerating compartment is higher than the predetermined temperature even though the compressor and refrigerating compartment fan are continuously driven. Accordingly, it is possible to improve the cooling efficiency.
