  • Patent number: 8432758
Abstract: A device for storing error information of a memory device includes a plurality of parent memories and a plurality of child memories. Each of the parent memories stores a row address and a column address of one defective cell. Each of the child memories stores a column address of a defective cell, having a row address identical to a row address stored in the corresponding parent memory, or a row address of a defective cell, having a column address identical to a column address stored in the corresponding parent memory. Herein, each of the parent memories stores information about information about whether a row repair must be performed to repair a defective cell stored in the parent memory and information about whether a column repair must be performed to repair a defective cell stored in the parent memory.

  • Publication number: 20120185822
Abstract: A web browsing method and apparatus for enhancing a user's convenience in web browsing is provided in a system that uses a multi-core processor. The web browsing method and apparatus is applicable in a system, such as a smart phone that has a low computing power or that has a storage device like a flash memory operating in a rapid manner. Optimized machine codes are stored in files and incremental optimization is achieved, so the JAVASCRIPT® program of the web application has a small compilation overhead and achieves fast execution.

  • Publication number: 20120131396
Abstract: A device for repair analysis includes a selection unit and an analysis unit. The selection unit is configured to select a part of the row addresses of a plurality of spare pivot fault cells and a part of the column addresses of the spare pivot fault cells in response to a control code. The analysis unit is configured to generate an analysis signal indicating whether row addresses of a plurality of non-spare pivot fault cells are included in selected row addresses and column addresses of the non-spare pivot fault cells are included in selected column addresses.

  • Patent number: 6445879
Abstract: A method for braking a washing machine in accordance with the present invention comprising the steps of: setting up an initial data of a duty ratio corresponding to a detected speed and a rotating position; discharging a voltage of the capacitor filter during a duty-on cycle according to the duty ratio set up in the preceding step; and charging a voltage to the capacitor filter during duty-off cycle when the duty-on cycle of the preceding step is finished. As described above, the dynamic braking resistor is not used in the method for braking the washing machine according to the present invention so that the size and the production cost are reduced.

  • Patent number: 6369538
Abstract: This invention relates to a method for braking a washing machine comprising the steps of: determining whether or not a motor is braking; transmitting a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) control signal by setting up the initial phase and the duty ratio according to the voltage flows in the system when an operation mode determined by the previous step as a braking mode; comparing a capacity and a variance of the detected voltage with a reference voltage predetermined during the previous step; and controlling a motor driver by re-establishing the control phase and the duty ratio are re-established until the motor is stopped when the comparison result of the previous step indicates that the capacity and the variance of the voltage are lower than the predetermined reference level.

  • Patent number: 5678268
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for controlling laundering of a low frequency oscillation washing system to enhance the laundering effect by maintaining resonance phenomena inside of a wash tub in a resonant laundering by oscillation. The inventive method therefor includes the steps of keeping up the resonant condition by a pulsator to a first wash time at a speed of a first oscillating frequency by selecting a washing or rinsing procedure; continuously keeping up the resonant condition of the above first step to a second wash time at a speed of a second oscillating frequency; producing a speed of a third oscillating frequency to prevent the extinction of the resonant condition maintained at the second step and retain the continuous resonance; and repeatedly performing the operation through which each speed of the first, second and third oscillating frequencies is intermittently increased or decreased up to a predetermined wash time by generating an interrupt.

  • Patent number: 5450733
Abstract: An input energy saving device for a low frequency vibration type washing machine. The device lets the resonance frequency of the washing tub and the input frequency of the oscillating disc be equal to each other during generation of resonance phenomena in the multi-phase washing medium for clothes washing, thus to save the input energy required in generation of the resonance phenomena. The device comprises a washing tub receiving multi-phase washing medium therein and an oscillating disc provided in the washing tub for generation of resonance phenomena in the washing medium. A flexible elastic body is placed between the disc and the inner bottom of the washing tub for letting the input frequency of the disc means and the resonance frequency of the washing tub be equal to each other. An actuator is coupled to the disc through a shaft so as to drive the disc means.
