  • Patent number: 7253565
Abstract: Disclosed are a power supplying apparatus, a backlight assembly and an LCD apparatus having the same. A control section outputs a switching signal so as to control an output of a constant current supplied to a lamp unit in response to on and/or off signals and a dimming signal and a switching section controls an output of a direct current voltage source in response to the switching signal. A power outputting section provides an alternating current voltage source having a constant voltage to the lamp unit. A sensing section senses variation of a power supplied to the lamp unit and a detecting section compares a sensing signal with a predetermined reference signal to output a detecting signal to the control section, thereby maintaining the constant current to be supplied to the lamp unit. Accordingly, the LCD apparatus may prevent deterioration of an image and damage of circuit thereof.

  • Publication number: 20070048594
Abstract: A membrane electrode assembly for a fuel cell provides a current collector adjacent to an electrode catalyst layer. Since electrons passing between the current collector and the electrode catalyst layer do not pass through a diffusion layer or a supporting layer, the diffusion layer or supporting layer may be non-conductive. Thus, various materials that are hydrophilic, hydrophobic, porous, hydrous, or the like can be used for the diffusion layer and the supporting layer, thereby improving the performance of the fuel cell. In addition, manufacturing costs of the membrane electrode assembly can be decreased since the membrane electrode assembly can be manufactured quickly with low energy.

  • Patent number: 6876538
Abstract: Disclosed herein are a multilayer ceramic capacitor, a dielectric composition capable of sintering at a lower temperature and having a small variation in dielectric constant, a multilayer ceramic capacitor using the same, and a method thereof. The dielectric composition includes BaTiO3, MgCO3, Y2O3, Cr2O3, Mn2V2O7, and xBaO-yZrO2-zSiO2 acting as a sintering agent (where 0.1?x?0.3, 0.1?y?0.3 and 0.4?z?0.8, x+y+z=1), wherein when representing the composition with the formula aBaTiO3-bMgCO3-cY2O3-dCr2O3-e(Mn2V2O7)-f(xBaO-yZrO2-zSiO2), the ratio of the components satisfies the conditions of a=100, 0.1?b?3.0, 0.3?c?2.0, 0.05?d?0.2, 0.01?e?1.5, 0.5?f?3.0 based on the molar ratio. When manufacturing a multilayer ceramic capacitor of a higher capacitance, which is formed to have the thin layer structure of 4 ?m or less, short circuits between internal electrodes and the deterioration in capacitance due to massing of the electrodes into ball at the ends may be remarkably reduced.

  • Patent number: 6849567
Abstract: A low temperature sinterable dielectric ceramic composition and a multilayer ceramic chip capacitor. The dielectric ceramic composition is expressed by the general formula: aBaTiO3-bMgCO3-cY2O3-dCr2O3-eV2O5-f(xZrO2-y(K,Li)2O-zSiO2) (x+y+z=1; 0.05?x?0.18, 0.01?y?0.08, and 0.7.4?z?0.93); in which a, b, c, d, e and f are molar ratios; a=100, 1.0?b?2.0, 0.2?c?2.0, 0.02?d?0.3, 0.02?e?0.3, and 0.5?f<2. The multilayer ceramic chip capacitor is prepared using the dielectric ceramic composition. The dielectric composition according to the present invention can be sintered at a low temperature without decrease of a dielectric constant, making it possible to make ultra thin-layered dielectrics.
