  • Publication number: 20070063637
Abstract: There are provided an organic EL device and a method of fabricating the same. An effective display area on which an anode electrode, an organic luminescence layer and a cathode electrode are formed is sealed by means of a metal can, a glass cap or an organic/inorganic material. A power source is applied to the anode and the cathode electrodes through a power transferring part extended from the effective display area to a non-effective display area. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce the oxidation of the cathode electrode of the organic EL device, thereby preventing the electrical contact characteristics of the cathode electrode from being deteriorated.

  • Publication number: 20060202934
Abstract: In an OELD panel capable of decreasing a cross-talk and an OELD apparatus having the OELD panel, a switching part is formed in a unit pixel defined by a data line and a scan line to control the output of a data signal in response to a scan signal. A current supply line is disposed on at least two sides of the unit pixel to transfer a current. The sides of the unit pixel are disposed adjacent to one another. An organic electro luminescent part generates a light in response to the current. A driving part is disposed between the organic electro luminescent part and the current supply line to control the current in response to the data signal outputted from the switching part. • Patent number: 7068330
Abstract: A liquid crystal display includes swing common electrodes for storage capacitors to sequentially apply signal voltages based on display data to target pixels to display picture images at respective frames. The voltage applied to the common electrodes is terminated with minus (?) during the period of gate on in case the pixel voltage is inverted from minus (?) to plus (+) while being terminated with plus (+) in case the pixel voltage is inverted from plus (+) to minus (?). The common voltage is repeatedly swung from minus (?) to plus (+) after the gate turns off. In these conditions, the respective common electrode lines for the storage capacitors are periodically swung synchronized with gate pulses to thereby generate overshoot. The response speed of the liquid crystal is enhanced due to the overshoot when the gray scale is altered due to the memory effect of the liquid crystal capacitor.
