  • Publication number: 20150303454
Abstract: The invention relates to a composite made of a porous carbon and an active material containing sulphur and to method for producing same. A method for producing a composite made of a porous carbon structure and sulphur is disclosed, said composite being characterised by a high capacitance and a low capacitance loss, when used as an electrode material for a lithium-sulphur secondary battery. According to the invention, a dispersion of carbon powder, an active material containing sulphur and an aqueous medium are treated hydrothermally at a temperature sufficient for melting sulphur. The liquid phase which forms, which contains the melted sulphur and water, infiltrates the pores of the porous carbon.

  • Publication number: 20130209891
Abstract: For use as electrode material for a lithium battery, porous templates are impregnated with a carbon feedstock that can be graphitized. This frequently results in only a low thickness of the deposited, graphite-like layer, such that generally several such infiltration and carbonation processes must be carried out consecutively.

  • Patent number: 6746655
Abstract: In a known method for the cleaning of SiO2 grain, a fill of particles in a reactor having a vertically oriented center axis will be heated and simultaneously exposed to a treatment gas which is passed at a specified flow velocity from the bottom to the top through the reactor and the fill. To provide on this basis an improved cleaning method and a suitable simple device for it, it is proposed according to the invention and with regard to the cleaning method that a chloric treatment gas will be used which is set to a treatment temperature of at least 1,000° C. in the area of the fill, and that the flow velocity is set to at least 10 cm/s. With regard to the device according to the invention for the implementation of the method according to the invention, a gas shower is provided for the gas inlet, the gas shower comprising below the fill a multitude of nozzle openings distributed laterally to the center axis, for introduction of the treatment gas into the fill.

  • Patent number: 6150006
Abstract: A quartz glass component for use in the manufacture of semiconductors is provided. It has a rough surface which is formed by irregular elevated structural elements which extend between a first, higher plane and a second, lower plane. A plurality of the structural elements has a substantially flat top surface extending in the first plane. This surface is bounded on all sides by facet-like, substantially flat, side surfaces which extend between the first and the second planes. The average surface roughness depth R.sub.a lies between 0.1 .mu.m and 10 .mu.m and the size of the structural elements ranges on average between 30 .mu.m and 180 .mu.m. The invention provides a quartz glass component particularly suitable for the adhesion of CVD layers and having a long service life.
