    Abstract: Disclosed are novel, stable aqueous dispersions of ionic polyurethane-urea prepared by reacting an aliphatic or cycloaliphatic diisocyanate, an organic polyol, a large particle size hydrophobic copolymer polyol, a difunctional isocyanate reactive component, and a water dispersible amine chain extender. Also disclosed are the films and coated substrates obtained through the use of said dispersions as coatings.
