  • Patent number: 9606931
Abstract: Some implementations disclosed herein provide techniques and arrangements for indicating a length of an instruction from an instruction set that has variable length instructions. A plurality of bytes that include an instruction may be read from an instruction cache based on a logical instruction pointer. A determination is made whether a first byte of the plurality of bytes identifies a length of the instruction. In response to detecting that the first byte of the plurality of bytes identifies the length of the instruction, the instruction is read from the plurality of bytes based on the length of the instruction.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for managing a subscription to a plurality of content providers and the irretrievably referring users to an interface of the content provider to directly consume media programs provided by the content providers is disclosed. The method irretrievably passes users to content providers so that the user can view media programs from those content providers using the content provider's application, while providing a central source for users to locate media programs available from a plurality of content providers and to subscribe for access to such media programs. This construct permits content providers to retain control over the user viewing experience and to encourage the user to view further media programs from the same content provider.

  • Patent number: 9522791
Abstract: First imaging device collects first image data, whereas second imaging device collects second image data of a storage portion. A container identification module identifies a container perimeter of the storage portion in at least one of the collected first image data and the collected second image data. A spout identification module is adapted to identify a spout of the transferring vehicle in the collected image data. An image data evaluator determines whether to use the first image data, the second image data, or both based on an evaluation of the intensity of pixel data or ambient light conditions. An alignment module is adapted to determine the relative position of the spout and the container perimeter and to generate command data to the propelled portion to steer the storage portion in cooperative alignment such that the spout is aligned within a central zone or a target zone of the container perimeter.

  • Patent number: 9322448
Abstract: A shock absorber, which is particularly applicable to bicycles, includes a mount body, a first cap portion, a second cap portion, and a fluid cylinder. The fluid cylinder cooperates with a valve assembly that is offset from the mount body. The first and second cap portions enclose a gas cavity or gas chamber. One of the first and second cap portions is interchangeable with other caps so as to alter the performance of the shock absorber by altering the size of the gas chamber. The replaceable cap cooperates with the mount body such that it can be replaced without removing the shock absorber from a bicycle.

  • Publication number: 20160102662
Abstract: A pump assembly for supplying negative pressure to a pneumatic brake booster, wherein the pump assembly has at least two elastic displacement elements which are moved by connecting rods, the connecting rods each being rotatably mounted on an eccentric element. The eccentric element has a bearing seat element and a force element. At least two eccentric elements are secured next to each other on a drive shaft that rotates about an axis of rotation and an interlocking anti-rotation device is provided that determines a defined angular position of the eccentric elements relative to each other about the axis of rotation. In order to improve the ease of assembly and simplify the manufacturability, the anti-rotation device is designed as shaped elements of the bearing seat element in such a way that they engage in each other in an interlocking manner when the eccentric elements are in a defined angular position relative to each other.

  • Publication number: 20160096584
Abstract: A shock absorber, which is particularly applicable to bicycles, includes a secondary chamber whose volume selectively contributes to a volume associated with a primary chamber of the shock. A piston is supported by a compression rod and cooperates with a shock tube to define the primary chamber. The secondary chamber is fluidly isolated from the primary chamber by a valve arrangement positioned proximate the piston. A plunger extends along a longitudinal length of the shock and forms or interacts with the valve arrangement such that the secondary chamber is selectively fluidly connected to the primary chamber so the primary and secondary chambers of the shock assembly contribute to the performance of the shock for a selected portion of shock travel.

  • Patent number: 9234515
Abstract: A motor-pump unit, for providing pressure for a brake actuating device having a pneumatic brake booster including a pump and an electric motor driving the pump, the pump being a dual diaphragm pump having two opposed working diaphragms, each of which is clamped between a pump casing and a working chamber cover and delimits a working chamber, and moveable by a crank drive having connecting rods and bearings, the working diaphragm connected firmly to a tappet and, together with the connecting rod, in each case forming a diaphragm unit. In order to provide a low-noise motor-pump unit which is more cost-effective and requires reduced expenditure on assembly, the connecting rods are made of plastic, wherein in each case one tappet and one bearing are encapsulated with the material of the connecting rod. Alternatively, the connecting rods can be formed in one piece with the tappet and provided as sintered components.
