Abstract: Procedure for obtaining calcium aluminate from the dry waste generated in the treatment, for recovery of metallic Al and salts, of the saline dross produced in the metallurgy of secondary aluminium and calcium oxide and/or CaO precursor. The procedure may produce briquettes or pellets of precursors of calcium aluminate through cold sintering or premolten calcium aluminate through hot sintering.

Abstract: Provided herein are branched polymers synthesized from: at least one (A1) reactive monomer having a vinyl functional group, or (A2) a hybrid reactive monomer having (a) at least one vinyl functional group and (b) at least one reactive non-vinyl functional group; and at least one: (B1) branching agent having at least two N-vinyl formamide functional groups or (B2) a hybrid branching agent having (a) at least one N-vinyl formamide functional group, and (b) at least one vinyl functional group. The polymers exhibit branching behavior, which in some embodiments lends to lower viscosity, enhanced processability, and/or improved sprayability compared to a corresponding polymer of equal molecular weight synthesized without the second reactive moiety. Formulations with the invention's polymers also are presented.

Abstract: The present invention, hereinafter referred as the Flip Coin Bouncer, is a variation on the classic game of Quarters. The object of the Flip Coin Bouncer is to flip a coin toward a specially designed goal in an effort to force opponents to take a drink. The game's playing unit is fashioned from a durable wood, cardboard, or plastic material, and measures approximately five and one-half inches in length, three and one-half inches in width, and one to one and one-half inches in depth. The base consists of an angled incline, culminating in an attached goal post. Shaped as a rectangle or, in another embodiment, as a pennant, the goal contains a centrally positioned hole for coins to pass through. The goal, as well as the base, is decorated with various sports themed logos. To support the goal within the base, a pen or similar object is attached and reflects the goal post.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide for flexible monitoring of content. The content at a client device can be monitored based on the use and actions performed by the client. In order to monitor the content at the client, a dependency is created between any recipient of the content and a monitor installed at the client device. For example, the content may be encrypted and, when the content is accessed by a potential recipient, the recipient may be required to request a key from the monitor. This activates the monitor to begin recording transaction data and events about the content's use, such as the recipient's identity and the type of actions performed. The monitor can be configured to passively monitor and record the use of the content at the client's device. In addition, the monitor can be configured to provide audit data that indicates the transaction data recorded to a server.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an improvement in conventional lock and key mechanical fastening devices. This complete electronic security system utilizes a radio standard and communications protocol such as bluetooth, asymmetric cryptography encryption algorithms for authentication, confidentiality and non-repudiation purposes such as GPG, and a magnetic lock mechanism. A magnetic lock is mounted on the frame and can be set between locked and unlocked positions. The lock mechanism selectively blocks and unblocks the access opening depending on the authenication communication provided by both the emmiter (I.E. Cell Phone) and the magnetic lock. The receiving device (GPG de-encryptor) will be embedded inside the lock itself and will be responsible for verifying message integrity and origin by calculating the hash value of the received message and comparing it against the decoded signature (the original hash).

The diagnostic tool is initiated by the customer entering basic information regarding a corresponding customer account.
