    Abstract: Illustrative embodiments provide a method and system for communicating air traffic control information. An audio signal comprising voice activity is received. Air traffic control information in the voice activity is identified using an artificial intelligence algorithm. A text transcript of the air traffic control information is generated and displayed on a confirmation display. Voice activity in the audio signal may be detected by identifying portions of the audio signal that comprise speech based on a comparison between the power spectrum of the audio signal and the power spectrum of noise and forming speech segments comprising the portions of the audio signal that comprise speech.

However, such online customers often struggle to find clothing items that are right for them. How a clothing item looks, fits, and feels are all important factors when making a purchasing decision, but images of clothing items and reviews can be misleading, sizing is guesswork, reviews are hit or miss, and online customers cannot physically interact with clothing items at the online point of sale. Given this uncertainty, customers often make poor buying decisions. Returns of clothing items due to poor fit and product misunderstandings frustrate customers and cost the fashion industry billions of dollars each year. This disclosure describes an online web application, preferably used in connection with mobile devices, that aims to reduce returns and improve customer experience by combining the convenience of online shopping with information gained through physical try-ons.

    Abstract: A system and process/method of modeling demand-response (DR) and distributed-energy resource (DER) assets is provided, facilitating the aggregation of said assets in virtual power plants (VPPs), and using VPPs to provide energy balancing services needed to minimize the impact of Variable Energy Resources (VER) on power system. The method accurately accounts for assets by qualifying assets based on various parameters and by forecasting the capabilities of the resulting VPPs for provision of balancing services. Asset performance factors that may affect the aggregated VPP's capabilities are monitored and recalculated when necessary. Near-term forecasted VPP capability is compared to near-term forecasted imbalances in the electric-power-supply system, and the VPP is dispatched to minimize the system imbalances. The dispatch signal is disaggregated to control commands to individual assets.
