  • Publication number: 20210286381
Abstract: Disclosed are devices, systems and methods for operation and control of gravity-fed fluid flows in water and wastewater related systems. The disclosed flow control system uses gravity to provide a flow of a fluid from a fluid source and a motorized flow control device fluidically coupled to the fluid source to control a defined flow rate of the flow by changing a position of an internal volume of the flow control device through which the fluid flows relative to a fixed level of the fluid in the fluid source. The disclosed devices, systems and methods can be used in a wide variety of systems for environmental and low-energy demand applications such as, for example, a wastewater treatment system to control a flow of wastewater in the system.

  • Publication number: 20210273884
Abstract: The adaptive overlay network architecture of the present invention improves the performance of applications distributing digital content among nodes of an underlying network such as the Internet by establishing and reconfiguring overlay network topologies over which associated content items are distributed. The present invention addresses not only frequently changing network congestion, but also interdependencies among nodes and links of prospective overlay network topologies. The present invention provides a prediction engine that monitors metrics and predicts the relay capacity of individual nodes and links (as well as demand of destination nodes) over time to reflect the extent to which the relaying of content among the nodes of an overlay network will be impacted by (current or future) underlying network congestion.

  • Publication number: 20210096712
Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods relate to utilizing an electronic caliper to analyze an electronic electrocardiogram (ECG). An example method for includes outputting, by a display, an electronic ECG within a graphical user interface (GUI). An electronic caliper is output, by the display, as overlaid on the electronic ECG within the GUI. The electronic caliper includes a first electronic tip and a second electronic tip. The method further includes receiving, by a user input device, a user input signal and moving, based on the user input signal, the first electronic tip, the second electronic tip, or both the first electronic tip and the second electronic tip, relative to the electronic ECG within the GUI.

  • Patent number: 10587433
Abstract: Example implementations relate to a networking device. For example, an implementation may receive a data processing packet identified as belonging to a processing virtual local area network. The networking device may execute an instruction associated with the data processing packet on data associated with the data processing packet and store resultant data in the payload of the data processing packet. The networking device may route the data processing packet with resultant data stored in the payload to a next device.

  • Patent number: 10568939
Abstract: An intervention for sleep disorders comprises collagen, a gelatin peptide, or the amino acid glycine; L-theanine; lactucopicrin, deoxylactucopicrin, or another lactucopicrin derivative; hyaluronic acid; epigallocatechin gallate; and quinic acid. The intervention helps regulate pro-inflammatory biomarkers that are often associated with insomnia development and progression. These biomarkers include cytokines and enzymes associated with tryptophan degradation. Inhibition of these enzymes and cytokines improves tryptophan availability and sleep quality, and allows individuals to sleep better with fewer side effects. The novel composition promotes high-quality, deep sleep.
