  • Publication number: 20090227546
Abstract: A pharmaceutical composition of drospirenone and ethynylestradiol with an improved dissolution rate. A method of preparation of a pharmaceutical formulation of drospirenone and ethynylestradiol in order to improve its dissolution profile. The formulation can be used to produce an anovulatory effect when administered correctly in humans.

  • Publication number: 20080094527
Abstract: Systems and methods for reducing defects during assembly of rear projection TV screens by using direct high intensity light characterized and classified with spectroscopy analysis to identify contaminants in diffusion plates, and then controlling air flow to reduce or eliminate the contaminants.

  • Publication number: 20080094526
Abstract: In a rear-projection TV system in which the image is generated by an optical engine and projected through a mirror towards a diffusion plate screen, picture quality adjustment is undertaken at the optical block level to reduce the distance between the adjustment device and screen and thereby improve production throughput in the dark room in which the adjustments are made.

  • Patent number: 6793401
Abstract: A system and method are provided for assembling of a bundle of conductors into a connector that defines a plurality of cavities for receiving the conductors. The system includes an apparatus that has a plurality of mating connectors that each include a plurality of cavities. The connector is capable of being removably coupled to one of the mating connectors such that the cavities of the mating connector are optically coupled with the cavities of the connector. The apparatus also includes a plurality of light emitting elements optically coupled to the cavities of the mating connectors. The light emitting elements can therefore selectively illuminate the cavities of the mating connectors. The system also includes a processing element capable of controlling operation of the light emitting elements. Also, the processing element includes a display capable of indicating the at least one cavity being illuminated.

  • Patent number: 5035672
Abstract: A meat tenderizing machine having a press plate with teeth on a lower surface thereof for effecting tenderization of a cut of meat. This plate extends parallel to an upper surface of a meat supporting mechanism. There are power means for reciprocating a press plate towards and away from the support mechanism. This reciprocating means can be adjusted in order to adjust the reciprocal movement of the press plate and thus the distance between the lower surface of the press plate and the upper surface of the meat support mechanism when the press plate is in a fully lowered position. Preferably the reciprocating means is a plunger connected to the press plate, a guide for the plunger, a crank shaft rotatably mounted on a support structure, and a connecting rod pivotally connected to the crank shaft and the plunger.
