  • Patent number: 11953745
Abstract: A transition tube is provided for receipt of a fiber optic cable with a jacket portion and a stripped fiber portion. The transition tube allows the optical fiber to be placed within a gel block seal so that the gel block need not contact the jacket of the optical fiber cable. In some examples, the transition tube contains inner geometry to allow easy insertion of an optical fiber cable. In other examples, an end of the cable is sealed within the transition tube.

  • Patent number: 11408937
Abstract: In described examples, a latch includes active feedback circuitry for latching input information. A comparison of logic states between input and output states at selected times can determine whether, for example, the latch has correctly retained latch data. The latch can optionally be included within a scan chain, provide asynchronous latch error notifications, and/or synchronous notifications indicating where in the scan chain a latch error occurred.

  • Patent number: 10545556
Abstract: An IC includes logic groups each including a launch and a capture FF with a logic cloud in between. A power switch is in series with a power supply node of the logic groups. The logic groups have a clock-gating and power control (PCGC) block for dynamically generating a power supply enable (PS_EN) signal output coupled to a control node of the power switch and a clock output (CLK_OUT) signal coupled to a clock input of the launch or capture FF for clocking the logic groups. The PCGC blocks receive an EN signal and a CLK_IN signal and dynamically generate the PS_EN signal and CLK_OUT signals. During clock cycles at least one logic group(s) does not contribute to an intended logic result for the IC the CLK_OUT signal disables switching of at least a portion of the logic group(s) while the PS_EN signal turns off power to the logic group(s).

  • Publication number: 20150184944
Abstract: The invention relates to an indicator, which comprises a previously enamelled ceramic part, on which reactive inks that react with the temperature are deposited, displaying a series of variations on the surface thereof. The indicators have two types of reactive inks, which act as follows: • by surface change: the indicators have a predetermined printed surface which is known prior to firing and the size of said surface varies after firing in accordance with the temperature 1 time to which the indicator was exposed; Or • by colour change: the indicators have a predetermined surface printed with an ink which develops a specific colour in accordance with the temperature to which the indicator was exposed. The reactive inks used are advantageously lead-compound inks coloured with a cobalt ceramic pigment, or compounds of copper, nickel or iron, among others.

  • Patent number: 8558752
Abstract: A system and method for fabricating a mandrel wound antenna are provided. The method includes securing a first end of a wire to a first portion of a mandrel tool, where the mandrel tool includes a faceplate supporting a plurality of posts, and the posts arranged and disposed to define non-overlapping circumferential patterns. The method also includes wrapping the wire around outer peripheries of the plurality of posts to form non-overlapping wire coils around the plurality of circumferential patterns to provide an antenna. The method further includes securing a second end of the wire to a second portion of the mandrel tool, cutting the wire in proximity to the second end, attaching the antenna to a substrate separate from the faceplate, and detaching the antenna from the faceplate.

  • Publication number: 20100218452
Abstract: An adjustable telescoping support mechanism is provided that may be connected between members of two positionally separated and supported truss members for providing support for a concrete-forming surface for fabricating building floors or ceilings. The telescoping support mechanism may be easily positioned adjacent to the location of vertical concrete structures of a building, such as building support columns, stairwells or elevator shafts in order to tie in a concrete floor or ceiling to the vertical concrete structure. The mechanism provides a means for fabricating a floor or ceiling adjacent to a vertical concrete structure either prior to or after the vertical structure has been fabricated, without the need for supporting scaffolding, which impedes normal construction activity and creates safety issues.
