  • Patent number: 9914276
Abstract: A machine for assembling boxes comprising five independent parts including two head walls, two side walls and a base with peripheral flanges that engage with grooves in a lower portion of the side walls and the head walls. Ends of the head walls have end tongues that are inserted into notches adjacent to ends of the side walls. The machine includes a central assembly station comprising a base ring inside which a stationary forming die is disposed. A base of a box to be formed is positioned on a lower face of the stationary forming die such that while the base of the box is held in position, horizontal push devices are activated which move the head walls and the side walls towards the base of the box which is locked in position against the lower face of the stationary forming die.

  • Publication number: 20180055047
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for changing the development pattern, increasing the growth and starch accumulation, changing the structure of starch and increasing the resistance to water stress in plants. The method involves culturing plants in an atmosphere containing volatile elements emitted by a microorganism, without there being any physical contact between the microorganism and the plant. The method is based on the discovery that the volatile elements emitted by Gram-positive or Gram-negative bacteria, yeasts and microscopic fungi stimulate an increase in the growth of plants in general, with an increase in the height, the number of leaves and/or the number of branches of the plant, as well as an increase in the accumulated starch and structural change of this biopolymer, and modification of the development pattern, with an increase in floral buds. An increased resistance to water stress can also be observed, in addition to an increase in starch in leaves separated from whole plants.

  • Publication number: 20170067455
Abstract: A linear actuator comprising a motor adapted to axially rotate a rotor shaft in alternating directions, the motor having a stator positioned co-axially around the rotor shaft with the rotor shaft being co-axially coupled to a drive mechanism to convert axial rotation of the rotor shaft into reciprocal displacement of the drive mechanism, the drive mechanism having opposed ends, one end coupled to a piston arranged within a cylinder to define a pumping chamber between the piston and the cylinder, wherein alternating rotation of the rotor shaft causes reciprocal linear displacement of the piston within the pumping chamber, and the linear displacement of the drive mechanism operates a lubrication system within the linear actuator.

  • Publication number: 20160271643
Abstract: A system and method for improved runnability of sheet fed and roll fed coaters comprising of a steam system and a conventional sheet fed coater. Headers of the steam system are positioned in such a way that steam from the steam system can be sprayed at the desired position over the rollers of conventional sheet fed coater. The steam system allows control of pressure, temperature, flow etc. of the steam sprayed over the rollers. The steam spray lubricates the coating roller and prevents lightweight thin substrates like paper or film etc. from sticking onto the surface of the coating roller. The present invention makes it possible to coat a lightweight thin substrate up to the edges of the substrate as clamps are not required to hold the substrate at the exit of the coater. The steam also helps to prevent drying up of coating substance over the roller surface.
